Hello everybody....I have been reading this forum and am very impressed with all of the knowledge. Here is my situation....I got married in the Philippines on December 30, 2006. My wife has one child of her own and we are expecting another child in early June. I have all of the K3 paperwork but I am wondering what I need to do to bring her child over and of course my baby to be. Can I start the K4 paperwork before my baby is born? My wife has her passport in my name already and I am wondering how hard it is to bring her child in the U.S.A. since her baby does not have my last name. I will really appreciate any responses. Thanks...Dgav333

Her child simply needs to have been named on the I-129F, and then follow through by returning the Packet 3 for the child and so on. Your child doesn't need a K4 visa because YOUR child is entitled to US Citizenship. You follow the steps to get the new baby a US Passport and Citizenship papers.
