What sexual assaults? Whether you agree with what he did or not it was consensual. Huge difference between that and helping a child rapist play the system and walk free then later bragging about it. The two aren't even in the same universe.

well, see - you'd have to believe that's what happened with hilary. interesting that you believe everything negative you hear about hilary and assume whatever trump has done (or does) is consensual. but you're right, i don't believe we are in the same universe.

hmm, these girls must have just wanted fame, like those accusing Weinstein 🤔 Not possible that Weinstein AND Donnie are predators... Both threatened to sue the NYT but nothing came of it 🤔

Well one easy example of a Republican being called a Nazi for not immediately disavowing the fringe Nazis  (even though he disavowed repeatedly) is Trump. If that is the standard Trump and other republicans were held to how is it unfair to hold democrats to the same standard regarding a sexual predator and rapist who supports them (and who they refuse to disavow)?

Trump is being called out as president, not as a Republican. In case you haven't noticed, a lot of Republicans are getting sick of his antics too.

It seems he wanted to win the presidency more than he wanted to be the president. He looks lost. It's been a year. Time to start acting like he's been there before.

Your personal opinion about Trump's performance as president has nothing to do with the double standard the democrats seem to have when it comes to disavowing bad people but nice red herring.

That's because he is lost, and many are wondering if that's a result of his mental condition.

Oh, but it does. When the only example or evidence you presented to back up your accusations is Trump being criticized for not disavowing something, then it is pertinent. You see, Trump is not just a republican, he is the president. He is held to a higher standard. Yes, he's failing miserably at measuring up to that standard, and yes, he's not cut out for the job, but that's his own fault. There is no double standard. Just another false equivalence.

I guess Trump is a uniter after all, just not the way he thought he was. He is being called out by all sides right now.

Isn't it ironic that between Trump and Weinstein, so far only Trump confessed to sexual assaulting women?

He contributed on several occasions to both husband and wife's various campaigns from 1995 to 2016 according to the nonpartisan Center For Responsive Politics.

The Weinstein family has given more $1.4m (£1.07m) in political contributions since the 1992 election cycle and wielded influence among film elite, hosting several fundraisers for the Clintons and other notable Democratic candidates and the national party committee.

Democratic National Committee (DNC), the party's Senate and House campaign committees (DCCC), and prominent figures like Senators Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, Kristen Gillibrand, and Al Franken among others have all said they will be donating Mr Weinstein's political contributions received by their campaigns to charities helping women.

Ms Clinton's statement did not address the issue of contributions.
