Hi,

My wife and I plan to travel to Canada for X-mas and to Vietnam around the Lunar New Year.

We have just received I-797 approving EAD and AP for my wife and I assume we will receive the card soon.

My wife has a Vietnamese passport and from my understanding will need a VISA to travel to Canada. (please correct me if I am wrong)

If she does need a Visa, how, with whom or where do we apply for that Visa in California? The Vietnamese Embassy?

I have also read that with the Advanced Parole, which has a 1 year expiration, my wife can travel in and out of the US as many times as she would like within that 1 year. Please confirm if that is correct.

With the current state of US Immigration, should we be worried about  not getting approved to return to the US at Customs? When my wife entered the US on the K-1 Visa in March of this year, the process was very smooth a fast.

Thank you in advance.
