I don't even know where to start.

This show makes a mockery out of the system but I. can't. stop. watching. Is so damn addictive

What is it with these 40-year-olds acting like teenagers dating young men? and embarrassing their kids in the process? not cute.

Luis is totally low budget Pedro, I can't stop laughing.

Nicole, give it a rest. It makes me cringe any time Mae says ''daddy'' that is one big recipe for disaster.  How is that going to work?

and he is not that into you. get the hint.

that 18 year old is so selfish. David moved from Spain to be with you and you can't even consider a different town in the same country?

and I can totally tell she is being horny and let that cloud her vision. that won't end well.

Is it really that 7 out of 10 fiance visas are a scam/fraud? it seems like a made up number, but it stuck with me nonetheless.

It's hard being a CR1 and seeing them get to the U.S up to three times faster than us when some of them have known each other for...literally days, sometimes.

but knowing that a lot of them are just fraudsters make it worse, no doubt.

I will continue to watch though. haha

I originally refused to watch the show because I was like "it makes immigrants look bad", "it doesn't give the whole picture of the process", "it misleads people to think just anyone after 3 days of knowing each other can get visas", etc.  Then I watched it and... can't... stop....  I hope everyone else realizes they pick sensational couples that will create ratings and not normal couples like my husband and I who toiled for 1.5 YEARS to get his immigrant visa after having lived together for 3 years (in his country).

1. Evelyn reminds of me of like those hardcore young people that is all about the Lord when they are still in HS or a Freshman in college, they are blind to everything. She irritates me so much because she reminds me of alot of people where I grew up. Also her saying that she doesn't want to move is ridiculous to me because he traveled across the world for you but yet you don't want to move for him is beyond me? Does she really think that he is a virgin??????

2. That guy turns me off as well because he seems like one of those guys that if he doesn't get what he wants he will get violent. I really don't see a good future for this couple in the long run at all.

3. I am from the South so I am used to the accent but I do think she is over doing it alittle bit to much as well. Luis looks like he would be her daughter's bf and not her fiance. She does seem like the kind of person that gets tired of guys quickly that's why she has two kids with different fathers and a big ### house to reel the guys in.

Evelyn looks alot older then 18 to me, and her and the family are weird, i think you hit the nail on the head with this one!!

I must say i really don't care for any of these couples, the thai bride and her man who can't afford her and her dowry, the filipina who keeps making digs about him taking care of her financially, Elizabeth and her domineering boyfriend, who is going to be sorry if she marries him. Then Molly, who is with the feo sanky, isn't thinking about her daughter's feelings, but the little one is all excited for him to arrive, from the looks of her brother and dad, i kinda expect to see them pull a shot gun from the back seat of his car lol Anyone else notice the car Molly's brother was driving? I swear i saw an El Camino in her driveway too :jest:

October 31, 2016 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

November 4, 2016 Received text case sent to Nebraska

November 10, 2016 Received Hard copy of NOA1

Hey don't hate on the El Camino they are great, I practically grew up around El Caminos in NC. They bring back some good memories for me.

I didn't see the Filipina talking about taking care of her or are you talking about the Thai girl? I guess I have to go back and watch it again to see for sure. Yeah Molly's dad reminds me of my father and is probably packing too.

When Billy Bob was on video chat with the Filipina she was saying like you will take care of me, it came across to me as he better have money. She has high expectations of the west, and said you know your my provider right?

Wow... don't  know where to start with that one... and yeah we all love each othere here in this group.. blah blah blah...and I'm just gonna say it... I'm one of those 40 year olds and I didn't just go looking for a younger guy, it just happened.  First, don't go lumpsumming all of us in one group.  Second, we're not all like Louis and what's her face.  Third.. we all have a God given right as to who we choose to spend our time and our life with and our marriage has been very successful.

ugh I know!

I want to believe that people know it is for show and it doesn't represent all of us, but who knows.

a show about a couple that patiently dated for years and then went through the VISA is probably not good T.V :P not enough drama!

Interesting overreaction. I'm not ''lump summing'' all the women in one group :) I clearly referred to women specifically acting like teenagers and therefore, seeking younger men, like shown on this T.V program.  Do I specifically think you, dear ''Mouadswife'' can't or I even implied that it is impossible to fall in love with someone younger? I never stated otherwise. If it works for you, hey, that's great. You are defensive and clearly took offense by something that wasn't directed at you, or wasn't even about you, if you aren't like Molly (I think it's her name) as stated by you. So why even take offense if it doesn't apply to you? if the shoe fits.

Sorry you kind of lost me at ''God given right'' what if I don't believe in God? don't lump sum (that sounds like dim sum, what a strange combination of words) in one group ;)

congratulations on your successful marriage and I wish you all the best!

Yeah, she was saying that she was nervous about coming to the US because she won't be able to work, and that he's her sole provider.  And she expects a lot of the West or some load of ####### like that.  I think she was implying that she expects to be treated like "the captain of the cheerleading squad" that her fiancée (who spent a whopping 7 days with her) thinks of her as.  She will be this year's Anfisa.  We also got the low rent version of Pedro.  And we got another Darcy and Danielle (going after much younger men).

Billy Bob's buddy said it best when he said "She chose America"  after Billy Bob said "Should could've had anybody anywhere in the world and she chose me."

But these people are so madly in love with each other after chatting and calling for a few months and spending 1-2 weeks together in person, nobody can talk any sense into them.

I think the only couple that really showed this and how hard it was the guy from Israel with his Tourette syndrome wife. She said that they tried 3 times before being approved

totally agree. and I have to say they look like a real couple, with ups and downs but way more believable than most of them.

This season just went for the drama and the absurd, they should've included a couple that had been dating for a little while at least, or a few years, and show the struggle they overcome as well.

It wasn't their 3rd try for a K1.It was discovered that her fiance applied for a visitor visa twice before and it was denied.

I found a lot about these couple from reddit and other forums. There revealed a LOT about the people on these shows.

Ahhhh ok thank you for clarifying that. What I heard on the show it sounded like they applied for the K1 visa a couple times and was denied.

I usually stay away from Reddit unless it has to do with Crypto or GOT.
