To this point, the best scene in the series has been Mosquito Boy threatening to jump in the water without his protection suit.  Suicide by Amazonian water bacteria.

Then Karina gets mugged by a guy with a machete.

Yeah she is pretty by Western standards but by Filipino standards she is over the hill and has to much make up on. You can tell she has done a skin whitening treatment on her face as well.

Yes, she is good looking for a 36 year old.  I think what irks me about her is she acting and strutting around flipping her hair like she's some kind of young supermodel.  I'm not saying 36 year old women (or any women) shouldn't be self-confident, but from the previews (I admit, they are only previews out of context) she seems a bit vain.  But when your man has you on a pedestal and calls you his high school cheerleader, it may seem appropriate.

I agree that she wears too much makeup.

Well I just hope I look as awesome as she does when I'm 36! :jest:

I tuned in late but am loving all of the post here. I have to say that I sort of find Azan a bit sweet. The way he was with Nicole's daughter was great. I was against him in the previous season but when I saw the way that he interacted with Mae, I was quite surprised.

The old broke dude..run as fast as you can. That couple reminds me a bit of Brett and Daya

David is ALREADY talking about moving from Evelyn's small town to someplace with a warmer and livelier atmosphere... ummm... Evelyn isn't leaving her family "ever", and her family isn't letting her musical talent go anywhere... And Evelyn with that dam grin all the time... especially when she went to pick up David from the airport.  She looks like she getting ready to get on a carnival ride. lmao :jest::rofl:

Elizabeth had a girls night out with her friends and totally proclaimed to all of them "if you loved your significant other you would be submissive too... Ummm.. I believe she definitely chose the WRONG words!  I love my significant other, and I believe that respecting his feelings would be more appropriate.  As far as I know, we don't have a 'grey' room... hahaha   She's definitely going to make people standoffish to her relationship by calling it "being submissive."

Still don't know whattt to think of Louis and the rest of the brady bunch... lol

I thought it was funny when 18 year old was like “I don’t want to move 10 hours away from my family” yet your fiancé just moved to a new COUNTRY! Too young to understand compromise... she seems super spoiled and expects everyone to do things the way she wants.

Yeah I feel like Elizabeth is sort of trash talking her fiancé & his culture. I mean she’s assuming he’ll never let her have a girls night again? C’mon now... if he’s that controlling she doesn’t need to be with him.

1. Yeah, she doesn't want to be too far away because of the "band" and her "music career".  I almost fell down laughing @  Music career.  They play at local businesses like restaurants and barber shops I think.  I wouldn't want to risk that kind of future career either. :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

BTW-Her "fiancee" is living with Pastor Tim.  To prevent them from giving in to temptation.  Temptation to what I'm not sure.   I don't know why but I really dislike the 18 year old.  That stupid smirk on her face annoys me.  Her religious cult family is very annoying.  Her fiancee is already looking to escape, classic.

2. Elizabeth knows exactly what she is getting into.  This guy is a typical old school male chauvinist.  Yet, she's so desperate that she's knowingly going into this but I guarantee that she'll be complaining about it when he comes to the US and starts bossing her around.

3. The fat cougar Molly  with that accent is probably the most annoying.  She is so delusional about this kid that looks like her stepson.  Her daughter is the only smart one.  She'll play with her new toy and then get rid of him.  But I'm guessing he'll leave first.  Did anybody notice that he called her "my fatty" in Spanish.  I guess she doesn't know what that means since she just kept smiling like a 6 year on Christmas.

Holly shi#t muffins! Too funny!!!

No. 1.. definitely 'can't' risk that career... but honestly I think she has a better chance at being a 'smile model' lmao.  I'm glad I'm not the only one that grin annoys.  I want to meet her though.  I have an overwhelming need to put bubble gum in her hair.  :-/

Elizabeth's fiance does have a mesmerizing smile though..... sighhh

Molly Molly Molly... she does have an annoying high pitched voice/accent.  Almost like breaks on a car squeeling.  He's definitely utilizing his woohoo skills to get that card.  I don't see him leaving though... she has too much $$$.. and she's too desperate to kick him out.  Lol she's not kicking Mr. Baywatch beach runner out. Lmao

1. Evelyn reminds of me of like those hardcore young people that is all about the Lord when they are still in HS or a Freshman in college, they are blind to everything. She irritates me so much because she reminds me of alot of people where I grew up. Also her saying that she doesn't want to move is ridiculous to me because he traveled across the world for you but yet you don't want to move for him is beyond me? Does she really think that he is a virgin??????

2. That guy turns me off as well because he seems like one of those guys that if he doesn't get what he wants he will get violent. I really don't see a good future for this couple in the long run at all.

3. I am from the South so I am used to the accent but I do think she is over doing it alittle bit to much as well. Luis looks like he would be her daughter's bf and not her fiance. She does seem like the kind of person that gets tired of guys quickly that's why she has two kids with different fathers and a big ### house to reel the guys in.

I'm a southern belle so I actually find her accent quite pleasing :P

Also, "gorda" or "gordita" is actually used all the time in Spanish as a term of endearment.  Even for people who are not fat.  I had to learn that when my husband talked about my "piernotas" (big legs) he was saying how much he liked them and not that I was a fatty fatty. B-)  Now, calling someone "chancho" (pig) would be a mean thing to say!
