I think she was pissed because he just up and left a couple years previously due to his infidelities. So he just up and left without worrying about the consequences of his actions. So his daughter is pissed that he was not there for them as a father.

We can't really say she was out of line, we haven't lived in her circumstances. David seems like he has excuses for everything, i probably would be pissed off too if he was my father and came waltzing back in my life years later acting as if nothing went on and thinks the kids should be all happy for him and be friends with Annie. He has grandchildren also he left.

Ahh this was in reply to what cyclone said, it didn't add that comment

I'm sorry but I really don't care why she behaves like a bitc#. She could hate her dad and that's fine, so why did she show up. I don't look for ways to excuse someones behaviour, there is such a thing as being a decent human being. BTW maybe some are attributing my comments to the way she treated her father. I am not and in a one on one situation with her father she may have every right to call him out on being a bad father (all of which we are taking her word for). My problem with her is the way that she treated Annie, and not just that it was the fact that she seemed to take great pleasure in it.

The daughter admitted she wanted them to break up, i believe she said that when the camera was just on her after meeting Annie. It's good drama for the ratings i suppose.

I feel like the daughter had every right to blow up at David.  I think the whole throwing of the drink was over the top and for TV drama.  But she's allowed to curse at him and talk to him in a shitty way.  He's a terrible father and thinks he can just show up and everything be roses.  No.  That time has passed.  A limit has been passed.  She can't handle it anymore.  I think people who have dealt with crappy family members can relate to the daughter in her reaction.

I don't think she was rude to Annie at all.  I think she was realistic.  She knows what type of FUBAR relationship Annie is about to start with David and is trying to warn her.

Folks, a reminder from the Terms of Service:  it's not permitted to

"Attempt to bypass the Forums language filter through the use of alternative characters to spell profanities or through the posting of images containing profanity."

This means terms that equate to, shall we say, illegitimate female children.

Other terms that aren't family-friendly should also be avoided, such as single words that mean:

-- the intestinal excrement of bulls

-- of or relating to intestinal excrement (in general)

-- containers for liquids, or implements, that are used during female private-area cleansing

-- the state of upset or anger that includes or involves urination

All of these have appeared in this thread.  Please use family-friendly alternatives.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

No, Chris's wife tried to warn her. His daughter was just plain nasty.

Look how Chris's brother in law talked to David, not that he didn't deserve it. I concur, the daughter was being realistic

Well, rumour has it that Azan/Hassan's visa was denied in Casablanca. I'm not surprised as a glance through the K-1 forum here shows that refusals in Casa are at an all-time high for young men. Nicole has been posting online asking how to get married in Morocco so I suspect she is doing the usual step after a K-1 denial - marriage and CR-1.

But it is somewhat disappointing to see a couple, similar in age, who have spent a total of 3.5 months together, where she has met and been accepted by his family face a visa denial when Mark and Nikki with their 39-year age gap were approved without hesitation after spending just 2 weeks (or something like that together). They clearly weren't even on the same page with regard to children. Remember how Nikki reacted and was certain she could get him to change his mind but he was adamant that "4 kids in diapers" was enough for him. That made me question how well they knew each other and whether they had discussed anything about their future.

It's bc the Philipino gov doesn't care. Same with the Tunisian embassay...no one wants to bother with it. So they divorce and move on after! It's probably more of a hassle to deal with thr back and forth in denials and appeals

Also 99% of the couples spend 2 weeks and can get an approvak..it's Only bc the Moroccan and ghana embassay are denying couples!!! Other then that, everyone else can meet once and bring over their mail order spouse 😂😂

The denial letter that Mohammad posted on Instagram was the denial of a replacement green card because he's in the 90-day window for removing conditions. It's standard not to approve a replacement for a lost card when the ROC window is open. You are expected to proceed with the ROC and just wait for the 10-year card.
