Aika seem way too aggressive to me.  She is making demands and Josh is letting her take control of the relationship.   She doesn't display the typical female attitude a girl raised in Philippines should act.

From my experience it is very normal. The women wear the pants in the relationship there.

As for their relationship he has said he is willing to look into getting it reversed so the did talk about it prior to her coming here. But he seemed to be more talk than action and she was right in telling him that it's time for action. I have a feeling that she has let him know from the start how important it was for her to start a family as soon as possible. But he was more concerned with having a trophy so said whatever it took to go along.

What the heck is David's hang up with sex? Or talking about it?  Maybe hes afraid if they discuss it she will find that he seems to know more than he should for someone claiming to be a virgin. Either that or he's just got some sort of hang up. Rather odd that she seems to be the more normal one in the bunch in this weeks episode.

I have always liked Andrei. He's a no nonsense alpha male and I see no problem with that. Her family is a mess. When people started complaining it was too fast she should have pointed them all to her father and said he forced their hand. I think the family has no clue of who Evilyn is or what she wants in life and all expect her to be like her sisters. Thank God she's not.

With David and Annie her true colors are starting to show. Granted David is a train wreck, but when she was talking about her view of America it's pretty clear what she was expecting. Big city, lots of money, nice car and beautiful house. Was she forgetting the her soon to be hubby was jobless? I also hate during their storyline where they talk about financially supporting her for 10 years. They totally misrepresent the process.

Nothing much on Azan and Nicole this week. I still think he should cut his loses.

Molly needs to dump Luis already. The previews of next week look interesting. But I think in the end she will still marry him no matter what  a disaster it will be..

I've really warmed to Andrei too. He seems genuine and I loved how unapologetic he was while hanging out with Libby's dad. Her dad is a punk and sounds proud of his gold digging daughters.

Yes!  Unapologetic is the perfect word to describe that situation.

Dad's all "you play golf?"

Andrei "nah, I never wanted to try, but it will be nice today"

Dad "how are you going to support my daughter?"

Andrei  "I'll get a job"

Dad "I won't pay for the wedding"

Andrei "Okay, no prob"

He is so unphased.  They keep alluding to this temper he has, but I sure haven't seen it yet.  Cool, calm and collected.

I wish he had managed her expectations more. I think when you have never been to the U.S before, it is so easy to get lost in the version of 'the American dream' that movies and TV shows sell to us. I still don't understand why they took a California detour, and why David didn't maybe come to the U.S ahead of Annie, get his sh*t together, and then send for her. Lots of poor planning between these two.

I don't understand why David and Annie did the K-1 anyway. The way I see it, the K-1 is very useful, and in some cases the only way, for couples to be together where the foreigner cannot visit easily. We see many young ladies on here from Asian and African countries who can't even visit because their B-2s are repeatedly denied.

I struggle to to understand why VWP people do the K-1 when they can visit easily, marry here easily on a visit, etc. But a couple living together overseas, especially a country with DCF options, must be out of their minds to do a K-1. Should have married in Thailand - all her family could have been there, applied for a CR-1 through DCF in Bangkok and then she could have worked right away when they arrived. It's also cheaper. How the living heck do they expect to pay AOS fees when they can't even put food on the table as it is?

I completely agree. We did a CR1 via DCF specifically because we were living together in Africa and didn't see the point of a K1. David doesn't seem particularly organized...

From my experience it is the exact opposite.  The men living there some usually have girlfriends on the side, and or a second family.  My buddy there who is PNP last year got caught cheating and the husband of the girl he was messing with had him charged with bigamy and he had to pay him to make the charges go away.

Men are treated like kings there and I have seen the woman work and support the man, but from what I have seen it's the man who wear the pants.  They get served first at dinner,  etc.

The women get treated like a door step from what I have seen, If a woman would call the police for getting beaten the police would first ask "What did you do to make his angry".

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

I concur with this as well. This is pretty much what I have seen as well.

Well that's kind of different than what I was talking about. There are functional and dysfunctional relationships. Of course there are a lot of guys there that treat girls like cr@p. There are also a lot of girls who put up with it. I guess it's all about what you are exposed to. But in functional relationships that I have seen the guy goes to work and brings his pay to his wife. She is the decision maker. I even did a questionnaire at the municipal before getting married where it talked about giving your pay to the wife and her giving you an allowance. I had to lmao at that. Not gonna fly in my house.

Agreed!  We did CR1 because we were living together in Costa Rica and could wait.

I guess they did k1 because a) the show paid them money and we know David ain’t got none; b) because otherwise Annie wouldn’t marry him since she was dying to go to the USA; and c) if they had waited the year for the CR1 their relationship would have fallen apart!

I feel bad for Annie.  I think she (and her family) thought they hit the jackpot, but it turns up it was snake eyes.  A fat, bald, broke, homeless, alcoholic is her prize.  Thanks for playing.  But I think she's so desperate to make it work that she'll stick it out until she can. In other words, she'll never cut her losses and leave, unless her boots or they end up totally homesless.

What's with his friend Chris letting him live in an abonded firehouse and driving a HUMMER?  He can't even afford the gas to drive it.  Wouldn't a Honda Civic be better.  SMH.

Elizabeth's father is just plain cheap.  He seems like he has a little bit of dough but he doesn't seem to want to help his daughters.  He seems very proud that his other golddigger daughters married guys with money.  He's happy because he won't have to help them, and that's why he dislikes Andrei because he thinks that he'll have to support them.  And what a sad-### excuse that since he didn't ask for her hand in marriage, that means they don't need his support.  But Andrei said that he did reach out a few times but the old man ignored him.  Frankly, I think the old man (and her bnrothers) are just typical redneck American Good-ole-boys and just don't trust/like foreigners.  But good that Andrei doesn't get phased and just told the cheapo that they'll be ok.  If I was in Elizabeth's shoes and my family practically disowned me and refused to help me during a difficult time (and the time from arrival on K-1 to getting the EAD and actually getting hired is a difficult time for many who don't have enough money to get by during those months), I would be very hurt and it would ruin (probbaly end) my relationship with my family.  I would move away and cut off all contact.

Luis was brought in to be a stepdad more than husband it seems but he just wants to have fun, and not do anything to help.  He's lazy and immature, not what she's looking for.  But she's desperate for a man and she's old and will marry him anyway.

Aika seems to really want kids so I can see her leaving that loser.

They could have done DCF in Thailand. I was a February 2017 I-130 filer. There was a Bangkok DCF filer in our "group" too. His wife had been interviewed, received her visa and travelled before my I-130 even made it out of the Nebraska review room. Start to finish was 3 months for them. Annie dropped the ball there - her big dream of living in America could have come even quicker if she'd done some research. The K-1 is fast, but DCF is lightning speed. I don't know at what point it seemed like a brilliant idea to move to a country where you cannot work for many months to live with a penniless man. No sympathy for either of them.

I actually do feel bad for her. I think she’s sheltered and uneducated (though she speaks English)and I almost wonder if her parents pushed her to marry him (or any US citizen). She was really upset having to leave and her parents were like “well it’s for the best because now she’ll be able to support us”.

I feel bad for Annie also, David has been less then honest with her. Meeting the kids, looks interesting for tomorrow. That warehouse/fire station Chris lent them, #######. The bed was all unmade, looked like someone had been staying there already. David telling Annie how she will like Kentucky so much blah blah, he never should have taken her to California.

Wow. This show!

I watched until 9:30 as usual.

I hope Annie takes David's daughter's advice and RUNS! I loved how he tried to be like "oh she doesn't like that I'm getting married", no she doesn't like YOU. Because you were and continue to be a terrible father.

####### was going on with Luis?? I think he's trying to intentionally break up that relationship. But Molly reacted in a very childish way while yelling and such. Reminds me of how my students sometimes try to get a rise out of me and I'll just be like "I'm not going to continue this conversation". She needed to walk away.

I really hope Aika and Josh get a second opinion or at least see another doctor. That doctor was a huge jerk. And Josh's smug look when he was like "oh it'll be her problem not mine"... ugh! You're supposed to be a team, working together! I couldn't believe how awful that doctor treated Aika. It's okay to give facts but you don't have to be so judgemental!
