yes! quite a few others in the past were also prostitute and where they met the man.  i wonder how often that happens outside of the show! also, most of the men are working in the 'tourist' industry like pool men and bar boys.  the men know to seek out older, unattractive women who are generally more insecure and the women seek out older men who are also insecure.  (these men are trained .  lots of information on it online)/ . my sister went to tunisa and said locals were allll over her trying to meet someone from usa/canada/europe!

when TLC found nikki/mark in season 2 and then mohammed/danielle in season 3 the shows ratings went up! The couples in season 1 were wayyyy too boring for reality tv!!! so if TLC comes knocking on your door i would run as far as you coul dfrom your relationship! HAHAHA!

You do know that numerous couple's from VJ have been approached by the show? Needless to say none as far to our knowledge has been on it. So these couple's aren't all set ups and fake relationships, even though from threads here we know it exists.

If people dislike this show so much, which they do mislead the general audience about having 90 days to marry, change the channel, like I said i for one enjoy rehashing the episodes, it's reality TV, no worse then some other shows.

Confused...i never said they were fake! And yes, Fernando and caro, Kyle and noon were both found on VJ! I'm sure more too...i think yamir and the girl who turned lesbian too...what I ment is that they are now picking couples that are clearly being scammed and have drama! No longer r they looming for "normal" couples. I am sure story lines r exaggerated but I never said it was fake!!!! But if tlc wants u on the show reevaluate your relationship! Lmaooo

Yes  I agree there were legit relationships. Like I said it's a so called reality show. It is entertaining for me. I wasn't asked, then again I'd decline, also I am married. To a scammer? Who knows really ;)

Doesn't Morocco allow a man to have more than one wife?

Yes, but the religious and legal requirements to taking more than 1 wife are rather difficult. My husband is Moroccan and he only knows a small number of men who have 2 wives, and he doesn't know anyone with more than that (can have up to 4).

In Azan's case, he will need to get what they call a 'singlehood certificate' that proves that he is not legally married to anyone else. This is required by the US consulate in Casablanca where his interview will be.

Sorry, but I would not let any future wife of mine go to Vegas for a bachelorette party either. But then again I would be with someone who would want that in the first place.

I don’t have any hate for prostitues turned wives. If that’s what Aika was, then that’s fine. She obviously wants to be monogamous now. It’s Josh who seems like the creeper, not so much her.

I wouldn’t care about my husband going to Vegas alone for a bachelor party. I trust him so it’s whatever. But I understand that every couple had their boundaries.

I've been to Vegas for a girl's weekend/birthday party. Granted we didn't go to strip clubs, just saw some shows, walked a lot, had cocktails and had fun. It's whatever works for the couple.

yeah! ha like aika, anfia, nikki, paola.. they were all prostitutes. i guess it is good thye are monogomous now! LMAOOOO!!!! those girls are just looking for a greencard.. they minute they find a 'rich' man they will be lone gone! so while i understand the 'i dont care if they are a prostitute' the issue lies that they se girsl expecet a certain lifestyle the men can not provide them with.

I don’t believe Aika is in it for a green card. And Anfisa was up front about her expectations since day 1. Jorge lied to her.

it upsets me how every time a pretty girl gets on the show people automatically assume they were/are: prostitutes. Like dang, can’t a pretty girl not be a hooker?

The Quran and a fair number of Muslim countries allow for multiple wives as long as the husband treats all of the wives equally. So it's easier to do that if a man is poor or really rich.
