Post-AOS job prospects?

So, we're not nearly there yet (filed I-129f in July), but after everything and we file for the adjustment of status, but before she gets her green card, how easy or hard is it to get a job? I know experience, resume, all the "usual" job hunting stuff also factors into it, but assuming for a moment all that is good, how likely are employers to hire someone here on that status and not yet with a green card? Those of you who have gone through this on here, did your spouse have trouble finding work for that reason?

Having EAD is as good as having a green card when it comes to looking for jobs. Its a valid, federal document. Employer cannot refuse to hire someone just because they are on work permit while waiting for the green card.

Well, there's what the employer is legally not able to do and then what they actually do. Employers can come up with any "official" reason to not hire someone regardless of what they're reason really is. I was once rejected for a job with Overhead Door Company because I was a single dad (was told that point blank), but it was just me and the manager there so it'd just be my word against his if I made a legal issue of it.

I was offered a job with my EAD, started working about 3 weeks after receiving it. There will be companies that try to circumvent and there will be those that just want the best person... eventually you find the latter, and all though job security and income is important, I wouldn't want to work for a company that did the former... so win/win.
