Just checked this morning and NOTHING!! This is driving me crazy!! :angry:

i feel your pain sandip!!! it took about 3 weeks for me to get confirmation that they had indeed received and forwarded my petition. it just seems like a black hole doesn't it? they should have some sort of bar code that scans in and out of depts in the process so you can get an auto email attached to it to find out where it is, no? then they could get more done by not having us call and email all the time!!!!

It really is a black hole and I am definitely frustrated. I thought after NOA2 things would move much faster but we have to wait 3 weeks just to get the paperwork transferred. I can only imagine how long they will take in India. Anyway, it is what it is. Sooner or later we will all get thru it.

I agree with you. This is a black hole !!!!!!!!!!!!

Even I got email telling me that NVC assigned the number, when I double-check with NVC's automatic system with a number, the answer is that NVC does not have my file !!!!!! It is funny

well, it will be 3 weeks for me this Thursday. Hopefully, that's all it is going to take and not longer.

I just read a post from CoL website. The poster had a NOA2 date of 4 April 2007. He just received his NVC approval on 30 April 2007 in the mail. There is hope yet. Be patient. My NOA2 was 5 April so I think my official notice will be in the mail this week.

I recieved my NOA2 for my I-130 in March and my NOA2 on my I-129 April 19th. On April 15th the NVC sent me the Affidavit of Support fee and a copy of the DS-3032 Choice of Agent form that was also sent to my wife in Juarez on the same date. I sent the fee in and my wife sent the DS-3032 form in. I called the automated system at the NVC and used the case number to access the status today. They say the received the DS-3032 but that is all. My question is does the NVC assign only one case number or is it different for the I-130 and the I-129 or are they tied to the same case number?

I have just called today and also received an email from them saying that they have not received my papers. I'm hoping that they get mine as well as all of you guyz soon

Yeah, I just got an e-mail response back from the NVC saying they do not have my documents yet. I always thought things got quicker once your NOA2 was approved. Good luck to all.

AOS Timeline

7/28/07 Sent AOS and EAD package to Chicago Service Center

8/31/07 NOA1 for I-485 Adjust Status & NOA1 for I-765 EAD

9/26/07 Biometric appointment

10/31/07 EAD card arrives in mail

11/16/07 Applied for SS number. Told it will arrive in 10 days.

I-129 Timeline

1/29/07 Mailed I-129 package to Chicago Service Center

1/31/07 Received by Chicago Service Center

2/02/07 NOA1 notice date from Missouri (NBC)

2/05/07 NOA1 received in mail

2/12/07 E-mail stating form was transferred to California Service Center

2/17/07 Letter stating form was transferred to Calfornia Service Center

2/20/07 Arrived at California Service Center

4/17/07 NOA2 e-mail notice date

4/21/07 NOA2 approval received in mail

5/4/07 NVC received approved I-129F. Assigns case number.

5/8/07 NVC sends documents to the embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan

5/11/07 Documents arrive in Pakistan, appointment package sent.

5/14/07 Received letter in mail informing us the NVC has sent our package to Pakistan.

5/15/07 Packet received with interview date, DS forms, etc.

5/17/07 Wife's medical examination date

6/5/07 Interview Date @ 08:00

6/5/07 Interview was successful. Was told my wife was "approved" and should receive her visa in a few weeks.

6/12/07 Wife receives passport with K-3 visa via AMEX

7/22/07 Wife arrives in Chicago

1/16/07 -- Mailed I-130 package to Nebraska Service Center

4/21/07 -- NOA2 approval received in mail

Almost one month now and still nothing...almost hard to believe. Not a single step along this journey has been easy. I swear our file has a post it note on it that says, "Don't worry about this one, they can wait!" :rolleyes:

I have got a letter in the mail that NVC got my approved I-129F and they assigned one ISL number and they said within one week case will be forward to Islamabad, Pakistan.

I think you should get your's soon as well.

When I talked to a live person 2 weeks ago they said, "2-4wks" for them send the file to NVC. Now they say, "2-4wks but up to 90 days". Sounds like they are falling behind even more. We are at the 4 wk mark now. Actually, we are knocking on the 6 month mark for processing. Oh how I long to be a Vermont filer...

My I-129 NOA2 was on April 19th so they should have my I-129 anytime now. I know they have my I-130 already.
