If you have specific questions about a case, please contact the NVC. E-mail is the NVC’s preferred method of communication.

By E-mail

The NVC’s e-mail address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.

In order to ensure a prompt response:

The Subject Line of the e-mail should be the relevant NVC Case Number.

Provide the applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth.

If you are an attorney, include the name of the law office requesting the information.

If the petition is employment-based, include the company/organizational name.

Reference only one case per e-mail.

24-hour Information

An automated recorded message system is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to answer case status inquiries (603 334-0700).

Note: This service requires the use of a touch-tone telephone.

Operator Assistance

Telephone operators are available to respond to more in-depth inquiries.

Well that just sucks. I am right behind you Agm. Let's keep our fingers crossed for next week. Makes you wonder what the heck is going on. It is been more than 2 weeks.

I guess,,,I mean in the same boat :( I got my approval on Friday, 20 April and my case is not transferred to NVC yet...getting bit worried seeing other people in the list above, who got approval >20 day than me and their case not at NVC yet.....I hope everything goes fine for all K3ers :)

hello! just keep on sending emails to NVC if you haven't receive any response,thats what i did.finally i got their reply!or just wait cause they might have email backlogs due to a lot of inquiries.... :)

:blush:(L) HELLO EVERYONE!!! we received our NOA2 on 4/20/07 and no news yet about receiving by NVC... hopefully next week we will receive notice from NVC,,,, i guess, this is just the normal process for January filers....

3/16/10 - online status, NOA mailed but no mail received

3/18/10 - Check cashed

4/15/10 - biometric appointment (notice recv'd in mail - 4/01/10)

4/18/10 - I-485 & EAD touched????

5/03/10 - Card production ordered

5/11/10 - letter of Approval received in the mail

5/26/10 - email received "letter of Approval" sent in the mail... not yet received till now 6/8/10

7/09/10 - email from USCIS stating that they already sent the GC on May 25th and undeliverable,

adviced to apply for I-90 as it might have been lost in mail

7/25/10 - mailed application for I-90 (replacement of lost or stolen card)

Hey Guys,

Just talked to one of my friend. He called NVC today and they received his paper work last Wednesday and have already mailed to embassy in India. His K3 was approved on April 11th. I just checked my status and they still don't have anything and I was approved on April 12th. Don't know whats going on.

The number for the NATIONAL VISA CENTER is 603 334 0700. The email is nvcinquiry@state.gov. Email is probably the best option. Wait time is very long when calling. However there's an automated line where you can enter your case number. Of course - as all of us know - they have "no record" of our case number. They do take calls up 8am to midnight. The best time to call is 8am (obviously).

My approval was 5th April (via email), but no word yet on where the package is or what these inefficient clowns are doing. Will keep you posted.

K-3 Visa

07/22/2006 - Applied for K1 - I-129F mailed to Vermont Service Center, VSC

08/02/2006 - Package got sent back requesting a different form (different revision). Proceeded to weep like a girl. Decided against fiance visa with newfound setback. Will wait for December wedding.

12/24/2006 - Marriage

02/05/2007 - I-130 sent to VSC and confirmed receipt following day.

02/13/2007 - I-130 NOA1 received

02/15/2007 - K-3 sent to Chicago and confirmed receipt following day.

02/26/2007 - K-3 NOA1

03/02/2007 - I-129F (K-3) sent to Vermont Service Center (from Missouri Service Center)

03/11/2007 - Received email notice: I-129F in VSC is now pending (whatever the heck that means)

04/05/2007 - I-130 and K-3 APPROVED! (email notice) (rec'd postal mail 04/13)

04/09/2007 - NVC received case (called 603 334 0700)

04/11/2007 - Shipped to Chennai.

05/17/2007 - Received confirmation of receiving package via postal mail in India with interview date! (took 36 days!)

06/15/2007 - Interview! VISA APPROVED!!

06/29/2007 - She's in my arms...
