I talked to the live representative, and he told me to wait 2-4 weeks. Again long wait for something so simple :(

OH boy !!!!!!! :angry::blush::help::wacko::blink:

Same here...................NVC did not get anything yet...told me wait from 2 to 4 weeks.

Same thing here. I got my NOA2 on 4/12/2007 and they say they have not received anything yet. Bunch of bull****.

Thanks Agm for putting the list together. I am sure we all thought after NOA2 the wait would not be too bad and things would go much faster. If it is going to take 3-4 weeks to get the paper work transferred to NVC, God knows when our spouse's will get the visa. This stuff is crazy.

oops!!! i thought i updated all the threads i posted in...my petition was received at the NVC on 18 April and sent to the embassy in bangkok on 20 April!! so hopefully in a week or so we'll have packet 3 in hand! btw when i called them and used the automated system on the 20th it said no record so i called and spoke to a live person who told me that k-1 visas rarely get "entered into the system" since they do not stay in the nvc for long. so try speaking to a live person. good luck everyone!!!!

10/31/07 EAD card arrives in mail

11/16/07 Applied for SS number. Told it will arrive in 10 days.

2/02/07 NOA1 notice date from Missouri (NBC)

I received my NOA2 on April 5, 2007 and have been waiting for my NVC approval. I called them and after about 4 attempts I finally got through. They said I was in the system. They were administratively processing my file.

I wrote them at the e-mail address and got basically the same response, but I also got my NVC number. The party line at the bottom of the e-mail goes like this.

"As part of the aftermath of the events of September 11, 2001, there areadditional security check requirements for visa applicants. While it isnot possible to predict when the clearances for this case will befinished by all involved Washington agencies, please be assured that assoon as the results are received, the case file will be forwarded to the appropriate US Embassy or Consulate General."

I never even checked. I got the NOA2 on 4/9 and my husband got his packet 3 in the mail today from the embassy. I kind of forgot all about it since I went on vacation.

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

our case was approved April 10 too....so it's not only me who is waiting for our case to be forwarded to NVC..how did u guyz contacted the NVC?can i have an email add and a phone number too...?
