Your age difference is fine.  Some people on here have 20-30 year age difference.

Just make sure you have spent plenty of time in person with your bf/fiance, preferrably several visits, and make sure you understand this is not a cheap or easy process, regardless of which visa you choose.

I was not at all ready to get married at 19 - not responsible or mature enough, I know everyone is different.

If you cannot afford to sponsor him on your own  (you have to have a certain income) you will need someone to sponsor you, and you are agreeing to be financially responsible for him for ten years, even if the marriage does not work out.

That depends on the country of origin since it's very much okay for many. 17 is considered a good age of consent in most countries, but it is a problem for some.  In Mexico for instance,  an angry parent can get someone in legal trouble for having sex with a 17-year-old, since you become legal at 18. I don't know if USCIS will find this to be an issue, but your age difference is definitely not a big one.

I'm not trying to be judgy, but 19th is in my opinion, marrying too young. Not because I think you're not mature enough or not ready for it and I won't discourage you from going through with it, of course, it's just hard facts: The divorce rate nearly doubles for couples under 25.  I do hope you can beat those odds, though. Good luck with the process!

I was 17 and my boyfriend was 22 when we first started dating online and I was just wondering if this would be a problem. Also would they look down on me getting married at 19? I know a lot of people think that young people don't know what love is and I don't want to be judged for it.

I would look into the laws by state. I am not 100% sure but i believe every state has a different legal age restraint (if any). But regards on age gap yours is very minor.
