hello everyone.

I am trying to complete the form I-130 (AOS from F-1) and  I came across some sections where it's confusing to decide what to put as an answer. I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this.

1-  in Part 4, section  11-a (beneficiary physical address) I provided my physical address where I live here in the U.S with my US citizen spouse, then on  section 12-a I typed "THE SAME" for Address where beneficiary intends to live. However, on section 13-a, (Address of beneficiary outside US) Do I still have to provide the address outside of the U.S if I live in the U.S for 6 years now? or is that section for those applying from overseas?

2- Part 4, section 25-a the section asks the names of beneficiary's spouse and children. Should I still put my spouse name there in person 1 if it's already in section 21-a?

3- Part 4, section 46-c  (Date of Arrival). Do they want the date of my very first arrival to the U.S or last date of entry ? because I went back and forth few times visiting my country.

4- Part 4, section 47 (Passport Number) as this sound simple, my case is a little complicated. I renewed my passport and the new one does not hold the same number as the expired one which I used in all of my entries before, however, I use my expired passport's number to retrieve my I-94 Info, does that mean I should provide the expired passport number in that section?

I would appreciate any help with those questions

Hi,

I am an applicant too, so my answers are based of my own understanding/opinion, and by no mean a legal advice.

1. Yes, because the question does not have any requirement of the last five years. This is a similar case to Part 3, section 9-a in form I-485.

2. Yes, because he is your spouse. Maybe it's a trick question to ensure your answer match. Check this video out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hLNpm-ypVc&t=604s

3. I entered last entry, because my last I-94 is the one I'm referencing to at Part 4 section 46-bhttps://www.justanswer.com/immigration-law/5cocg-exact-date-date-arrived-does-document-i-130-section.html

4. Yes, so it matches your I-94 info

Thank you ColoradoBeauty for the response. that was very helpful

I have more questions as I go further with assembling my package, if you or any one can clarify especially those who filed recently and were approved (tested)

- The biometrics fee, is there a form for that and the required supporting documents or is it  just an additional check for the amount of $85  w/ specifying what it is for?

-I am filing concurrently.I want to include the I-765 (Authorization for employment).I filed that before for my OPT and paid $380. I understood from some instructions that when filing concurrently, this fee is not required. but then some applicants posted their Cover letters on this forum and the fee was listed.

I want to know if I have to include the check for this form too in that case?

- For the form I-864 Affidavit of Support, Part 5 I am stuck there as my household size after filling all necessary boxes add up to 3. it should be 2, me and my wife only:

Enter the total number of immigrants you are sponsoring with this affidavit of support: 1 (only me)

Yourself (sponsor): 1

Enter ! if you are married : 1

Total 3

how can this be corrected?

I would appreciate any help

thanks in advance
