I noticed that a] I know I'm going to be going to this deserted island and b] I know that it will end after a month. Related to a] people know that I'm going because they will take me there and if an emergency should arise they'll probably come get me and laugh at me for whatever stupid thing I did to endanger my own life. Related to b] even if things are going well, someone will make it stop at the end of the month.

However, since I read all the posts first before posting, I think the best choice was a Walmart---especially the kind like what they have in the US that have great big food sections, just like a grocery store.

[Edited to remove the automatic placing of faces where point "b" should have been]

Can't answer this unless you tell me if its a desolate sand island with nothing on it, or we're talking a lush verdant paradise kinda island.

For the first, it would be a handgun with one round.

For the second, my knife, everything else can be procured on site including food water and shelter, the three basic essentials for human survival.

You can almost smell the military ><
