Hi Guys,

Hope all is well.

I just want to inquire, if it is okay to proceed with the Medical in Saint Lukes Extension Clinic, even if the status in CEAC is "AT NVC"?

There's no appointment...you just walk in at SLEC. As long as you have the NVC case number, you're good to go.

That said, keep in mind the visa is only valid from 6 months from the medical or the interview...whichever is sooner. The sealed medical results, assuming there are no issues, will given to the beneficiary and hand-delivered during the interview at USEM.

Thank you so much.

Received our MCN last 10/3/2017 and I am thinking of doing the medical on 10/10/2017. Just hoping that the status by that time will change to "IN TRANSIT".

It does not matter what the status is as long as you have the MNL# and also what helps is the actual paper/email of it as well.

Not a problem at all. At least you are not concerned about getting the NOA2  which the beneficiary will more than likely never get.

Depending how you want to go about this you can go at it the long way and space stuff out or the quick way. We just had a guy complete everything from NVC approval, medical and visa approval, to CFO complete in one month.

St. Luke's is first come - first served .  No appointments.   You will need to have your DS-160 completed, you will need either the NVC letter/email with your MNL# on it *(some use the CEAC status page print out as it shows the MNL # ) OR your interview confirmation page.

Yes a screen shot of the page.

No reason to arrive super early either, arrive after they open and you will still be done quickly without waiting in line for hours.  ;)    Do make sure to complete the online pre-registration.
