hello all,,

another post from me :)..actually interesting things are happening with my visa journey..initially I filed I130 to persue CR1 visa. then after about 25 (of NOA1) some days I filed for K3. For "some personal" reason, I decided to widthdraw my application for K3 and sent a written explanations to them. But for some reason, they still approved my I129 and I130. All this time i was reasearching for CR1 visa stuff bearing in my mind my I129 will be withdrawn. at this point I really have no clue how K3 works (what document u need etc)...can anyone please tell me what exactly I need to do rite now..?? At this point I have just received NOAs for the final approval..what can I and my spouse (india) do at this point? apologize if people have asked this already..thanks you very much for any help :)

07/31/2011 -- US Citizen wife applied for her parents I-130

12/12/2011 -- Got NOA1 ONLY for mom's file

12/22/2006 -- got married in india

01/17/2007 -- I-130 packet sent to NSC

01/27/2007 -- moved to CSC

01/29/2007 -- NOA1 received

04/19/2007 -- NOA2 received

K3 -- I129F

2/12/2007 -- packet sent

2/22/2007 -- NOA 1

4/25/2007 -- notice received in mail

5/10/2007 -- NVC recieved case (finally, after 3 weeks)

5/14/2007 -- NVC sent case to Mumbai embassy

5/21/2007 -- Embassy received case

5/31/2007 -- wife sent in packet 3

6/15/2007 -- wife received packet 4

8/23/2007 -- INTERVIEW DATE wohooooo + got K3 visa on 23rd :)

9/03/2007 -- sweetheart is here in US

AOS - EAD

9/17/2007 -- AOS/EAD package sent to chicago lock box

9/26/2007 -- NOA 1s for 485 & EAD

10/1/2007 -- biometrics appt letter received

10/13/2007 -- fingerprinting....speed it up guys..

11/28/2007 -- card production ordered - EAD

03/04/2008 -- final interview for greeen card :)

I'm a little confused about what you're asking - do you want to withdraw the petition entirely?

He received approvals for both, the I-130 & I-129F and he is asking what are the next steps in the process of a K-3 visa.

I'm not sure how the process is for India but I do know once your petitions have been approved by the USCIS, they will be sent to the NVC to have a case # assigned to them.

CR-1

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Are you still wanting to withdraw the petition?

I guess, at this point that would be bit dangerous(to cancel K3 after approved). I guess now I have two ways AOS or I824 :(

but my main concren is that what do I do now as far as docuements collections etc..

My advise is to visit the Consulate website HERE and click on the link for visa forms and packets on the left side of the page.
