For now the best you can do is be patient.      Hard to do, I know.

i know...am starting to be so impatient and so worried just because i need my Dad here for my Mom (with medical condition that requires his presence and care)

Now is when you need to draw more so on your patience ...  as difficult as it may be

We again called visa center to followup the escalated request; we were told that my Dad's case is still to be adjudicated 😯. Status in ceac, which showed issued, doesnt mean a visa is done...but, according to him, it could be in the final stage of adjudication. In addition, we were told that for our information, visa processing is case to case basis...which means that even if my Dad's is IR5, it depends on the CO whether to adjudicate it right away or later. We ended it on a note that all we can do is wait and see. Because even the eacalation email, even if it says 1-2 response time, that is not the case...it could take many days for that bec, also, response is case to case basis...omg...i wan to cry now...also, i was wondering why the agent asked what other docs were required of my Dad to submit after interview???!!! I told the agent that my Dad was told he will receive his visa and instructed him to get this white slip that informs him to reconfirm delivery/pickup address and the 7-10 bus days for the visa to be delivered...😢😅
