Hello Everyone,

At the US port of entry (JFK, to be specific), do we have to point out to the officers that our marriage is now more than 2 years or will they just figure it out to get 10 years permanent residence rather than conditional residence? Anyone been through similar experience? 

Also, about the visa package that we receive after the visa approval at embassy abroad, do we get it back or they keep it?

Any information is appreciated.

You shouldn't have to tell them, but it won't hurt to mention it either. They have issued a wrong card in the past, and getting it fixed can take the better part of a year.

They keep the sealed packet.

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

4/6/2017: Received, 4/12/2017: Sent to Riyadh embassy, 4/16/2017: Case received at Riyadh embassy, 4/21/2017: Request case transfer to Manila, approved 4/24/2017

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
