That Wasn't A RESPONSE AT ALL AND  is to bring him MY FIANCE IS A GUY.... I have money  I can pay for that, just answer the question, DO I HAVE TO WORK ? OR JUST WITH MY 2 CO-SPONSORS OR JOINT SPONSORS, AM I JUST RIGHT?

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORK !! YOUR SPONSORS ARE ENOUGH as long as he has all the documents at his interview there is a form called I-134 the sponsors would need to fill these out and turn in the proof of employment and bank letters i hope this helps you this community is to support not to tear down or make anyone feel dumb if they don't know anything good luck

Love knows no reason,no boundaries,no distance .It has a sole intention of bringing people together to a time called FOREVER!!!!!!!!

For good reason.  Finances are a big part of why people can be denied.  We all just want to make sure that you realize how expensive this can be.  We all want to help but we have seen people that are overwhelmed when everything starts hitting them at once.

You do not need a job to file the I-129F but your income will be part of their decision process.  We just want to make you aware of that.

We wish you the best.  Make sure that you have seen him in person in the last two years and you have the evidence.  Frontloading is not always a bad idea.

But my income will be part in the decision at the time of the interview right? because in the form I-129 they don't ask for your income just employment history,  I MEAN i just want to be clear that i dont have a job right now but i can apply for one in 1 or 2 months but I will be sending my package right now, They will consider not having a job like a problem ?I will find a JOB if that's necessary for the affidavit of support I just want to know if I can filled the form being unemployed and if that will affect my petition. WHY NOBODY ANSWER ME :(

you can put unemployed it is perfectly fine to do so.

having a short work history is also fine. all tgey care abput is current income at the time of interview and aos so make sure you have a sponsor lined up or assets to cover it if you are not making enough.

Correct. You only need to verify income at the interview. That is not needed for the I-129F.

We we are all just trying to give you a heads up. We all had “sticker shock” so we try to lessen the blow by letting new users know before they get that surprise.

You only have have to meet the minimum guidelines. If you can do that with co-sponsors you are good to go.

Go go ahead and file away. You are all good.

Okay I look very young but I'm 26 years old, I have been woorking since 18 saving a lot  of money,  like 1000 everymonth cause I don't spend it in stupid things like clothes of new cellphones every 5 months, So this is taken care the financial situation, plus I have a license to work as a nurse, also I do photography so I make extra income, My boyfriend He has money too, and He will pay for things, We will be living in my moms and his boyfriend house, My mom would help me to pay for things if I need to, The thing is that I am not living in Us I stay for 10 months in Colombia for being with my bf, and I am planning of going to us the 26 of october I already buy aiplaine tickets, and I an planning to send the package the 28 of october, so probably I will be applying for a job until november so I would not have a job to listed in the form I-129f so I want to know if there will be a denial for not having a job at the time of filling plus I haven't work since 2016 when I when to Colombia and Stay in there for 10 months, Plus I have tons of evidence, like my passport that said I travel 2 times to colombia one time I stay 2 months second time 10 months, I have credit card that proofs that I was in Colombia, I have airplaine tickets, tons of photos, and we have the same age, we are from the same city in colombia because I born there, and our parents are from the same country too, same religion. There is a lot of stress here due to the increased wait times. We are all good people. Sometimes we don’t communicate well. We are all a big family and I have never seen a single case where someone was out to give bad info or hurt someone.

Good of luck on your journey. Please check in and let us know how you are doing. This can be a challenging and confusing process. There is some great insider info here. Please feel free to use us!

It isn’t our interest. It is so you realize that the CO is going to ask you. We were just trying to let you know that income is going to be important at the interview. We don’t care at all. We were just letting you know that denials based on finances are not uncommon. Getting denied after spending thousands of dollars would suck. By the time of the interview you have the USCIS filing fee, Medical, possible additional costs for required shots, the visa fee and a handful of others.

Even with 2 co sponsors, they will care? I mean I can find a job, but if that isn't necessary I would just fly to us in october 26 send the package and come back to colombia to stay with my bf in colombia until he gets his interview at the embassy.

They will care.  Their main objective is to make sure that the beneficiary will not become a government cost down the road. If they suspect that, they will deny the visa.

They are are trying to protect the taxpayer. I believe the minimums are set pretty low already but they will pay close attention to income especially if they see a red flag.

Absolutely. That is very possible. Don’t be discouraged. We are just trying to help you see the way that the CO will look at things. Many students with co-sponsors have gotten visas. Front load your application with a lot of good evidence of the relationship and take those questions out of the CO’s head. You are fine. We just want you to be aware of the expectations. Don’t go into this blind and have answers ready when need be.  Go and file. You are all good.

What do you mean by two co-sponsors? Is each sponsor making enough on their own?

Yes I guess they make enough money , my mom lives with his boyfriends so in household size they will just put she is supporting herself and my bf right? and my moms boyfriend would put the same he is supporting him and my boyfriend because none of them support each other, and me? well I support myself too so I will put that I support me and my boyfriend, in case I don't have a job my mom has to put me in household size? I mean she doesn't put me in her taxes and she doesn't give me money I do support myself but what if I don't have a job that counts like support? I dont think so,  cause still I'm 26 and she can't claim me in her taxes.  I would make enough money too if I would have a job but I don't cause I stay in colombia for 10 months.
