Since my online case status still says that my case was received at my local office on 2/26/2016, I just called to get my status on the phone. The automated system stated that my case was transferred and is now pending. It did non say when it was transferred or where though. And since I have never called to get a status update before, have no idea when the status changed to 'transferred' either. Hm.

Me too.

I got all excited as while I was calling the automated service, I checked my case status online. I track a case 21 cases in front of me, and saw the 'document mailed' message. For a moment I thought it was my case. LOL. But good to know that case was processed successfully in September. Gives me hope (kind of, sort of, maybe...)

You've been waiting for an update since February 2016? Wow. That must be tough. Commiserations.

I had the same issue but mine will expire in January. So I booked an info pass appointment to get a stamp.

As long as you have a pending application, the officer will give you a stamp on the passport 90 days before expiration date.  it’s valid for another year from the appointment.

I will renew my DL soon upon the stamp

Take your appointment confirmation page, your passport, the expired green card and the extension letter with you !

Thank you, I just scheduled an appointment at my local field office to get a passport stamp.

Unfortunately, the first available appointment that I could get was on Dec 10, the day after my 1-year extension expires (Dec 9). Do you think this will be a problem?

No I don’t think there will be any problem , as long as you have a pending application. Just take your expired GC and the extension letter and your passport!

So if I ve been transferred to Nebraska ,how long is going to take ?

Good question since the processing times sometimes are deceiving. Hopefully soon but the waiting time for California is about 16 months minimum anyway.

I'm a Oct-2017 CSC filer and have the N400 in process since 24 Oct 2018. I haven't received notification of transfer...yet.

Me neither. I don't think all people get transferred. And I am a CSC filer and sounds like CSC-ers get transferred to Nebraska which seems to be slow, so I actually hope I won't be transferred. Honestly, I kind of given up on ROC at this point and hoping that my N400 will be a speedier process...though so far it is also not encouraging....

October filer...my status is now like this:

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On November 26, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number  to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

When it is saying that I will receive a notice what does it mean?

What kind of notice?

CAN BE AN EXTENSION LETTER? AN I 797 NOTICE THAT EXTEND MY STATUS?

I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ANSWER!!!!tHANK YOU!

Your case was transferred to either Texas or Nebraska because CSC AND VSC have been backlogged, and the notice will explain just that. You can also try calling the 1800 number to check your status over the phone, it is usually more detailed. Call and see if the automated machine tells you which office it was transferred to.

That's not a status for extension letter and unfortunately, you won't know if you're getting one because they don't send out statuses on when they send extension letters. Why don't you give them a call, ask for Tier 2 officer and inquire about it.
