Hello, everyone! I have a question regarding my 18 months extension.

I got here in the US on December 2015 and my green card has expired on December 2017. With that being said, my extension letter is good until June of 2019, right? And also, my N400 is currently on the process.

Cos my husband and I are  going back to the Philippines due to family emergency this week.

I would just like to make sure that I’m going to be fine leaving the country. Thank you!

@I751_HK I did get a transfer notification saying that it was transferred to Nebraska. I think I got that notification letter on November 10th but it was just a courtesy copy. Did you get a notification regarding a transfer? I got an email on the 7th saying “we have taken an action on your case.” So I think if you didn’t get a notification, maybe your case wasn’t transferred.

Just Found out that On Nov 6th My case got sent out to Nebraska Service Center . Any experience , on how long usually NSC takes to process I 751 upon transfer from CSC

NOA: OCT 23rd 2017

Filing Location : California Service Center

WAC1802300XXX

I went back home to visit family a couple months ago. You should be good as long as you bring your expired green card, NOA and extension letter. I would make copies in case you lose them.

Do you have an idea when should we expect an approval?

No clue. According to USCIS the processing times for i751 at the CSC is 15.5 to 21.5 months. Considering that I filed in October 2017, I'm expecting a letter between January and June 2019

All these processing time are joke . Once applicant comes closer to processing time ,they just increase to another few months .

Your best bet in this situation would be to roll a dice. the number on the dice will indicate the number of months it could possibly take.

That's brilliant news! Congratulations to you and your spouse.  Thanks for letting us know, hopefully we'll see some more coming through soon. Let us know what happens next and when you have the card in your hands. If you celebrate Christmas, what an awesome early present.

Thank you so much!

All Oct 2017 CSC filers whose application just got transferred to NSC (Unfortunately) will now wait much longer compared to those applications that didn't get transfer to Nebraska.

hopefully that won't be the case, stay positive man !
