Looks like an October CSC filer got an Update. This was posted in the I-751 September 2017 Filers section though but when I looked at their timeline it said CSC NOA: 2017-10-06. Maybe we can all see some movement soon. My logic is that since we recieved these new 18 month extension letters and a standard RFE usually has a response time of around 90 days (which would put us halfway through the new extension) we should be getting some traction soon. Within the next month or so. But who knows these days!

Well our letter got returned to the office so my husband called got it straightened out and we got it Tuesday.  It was the 18 month extension.  The original on the water stamp with the torch in back ground.

@AlluringSoul  I'm seeing a lot of infopass appointments going on, isn't the (expired GC + new extension letter) enough for traveling abroad?

@AlluringSoul great, thank you! I got a little worried since I am traveling soon and I was under the assumption that most October filers already received the newer extension letter like I did :)

When I filed my N400 online, the only issue that I encountered was uploading more than 5 files. As a resolution, I just combined multiple documents into one file(i.e. Tax Transcripts 2015,2017 & 2017).

If you haven't received your letter, call them up and ask to speak to Tier 2 officer to request a document. Explain what it is and they should be able to issue you one.

I never received the 18 months extension letter and I am an October 2017filer...I need to travel tomorrow and no time to get an infopass...

They told me that while outside I can apply for a transportation letter to then come back to the US....

so I will be back in a month with an expired green card...expired extension letter and with a valid transportation letter....(it cost 585 dollars!)

But I am still so upset that I didn't get an 18 months extension letter and that they are making me spend more money.....!!!!!!

I hope at least to get approved soon :(

Anyone in my same situation?

Thank you

That's a lot of money. Is this just 1 time use? Not in the same situation as in traveling but you should have gotten a stamp or called USCIS to ask for the extension letter.  Hopefully you get approved soon so you can have a peace of mind and give your wallet a break 😉

I still haven't received my 18 months extension letter and I will be travelling outside of the country twice this year. Fortunately I was able to schedule my infopass for next week.......but 585 bucks for a letter is a little bit too steep......I can't believe it.
