Oh no, why you say that?

Because CSC is taking forever and i am eligible to file N-400 in 12 days. I have done the application and uploaded all my supporting documents online. I just need to log in on 10/10/18 to pay and submit.

Are you planning to file n-400?

I'm planning to do it but there are mixed feelings about it.. I think for CSC , it helps a lot so you don't stay in the limbo of waiting for one thing to be approved to apply for the N-400.

thats true. i am doing it mainly to force them to do something about my case. I mean i have been waiting for just under a year for my ROC and there doesnt seem to be an end in sight. Might as well start the N-400 earlier than stay in limbo and waste time.

Hi everyone, this is my first time writing here. I filed at CSC on 10/16/2017. Surprisingly,  I just received a letter saying my request for the removal of the conditional resident status has been approved! I also checked my case status online and it looks like the card was mailed today.

I had 2 case numbers and it was confusing to me.  The first one was on the NOA letter and the second one was given by an officer when I called them on the phone to confirm my new address. The first one worked on USCIS online case status page, but when I tried to type in the second one, it never worked nor showed any information online. However, when I tried the second one today, it FINALLY worked and showed all current updates!

I don't know if anyone has the similar issue, but if you do, I would recommend using all case numbers you have. They might have some more updates for your case.

I hope everyone here will receive the new card soon!!

Wow this is great! Congratulations! I’m hoping we will all start getting notices like this soon, in the meantime I have no updates on my USCIS status, the last one is from March 4th when they sent to local office... I had my biometrics done in May and got the 18 month extension letter about a month ago, but none of it is reflected on the website. Sigh.

Wow, congratulations, this is exciting and give us hope.  Do you mind to tell us which service and what’s your first five digits of case number?  Any REF or interview and did you apply for N400?

05/25/18 --- Biometric done

Thank you so much! I hope you'll get it soon, too!! I didn't know I was going to receive it this early because the processing time at CSC is now 15.5-21.5 months.

My case history update online looks like below.  It doesn't say anything about biometrics or extension letter like you mentioned. I didn't have to go to Biometrics, but I received the extension letter dated 8/11/2018.  I hope it helps!

Thank you so much! I hope you'll receive it soon! For my I-751, I didn't get any REF or interview. I never received my biometrics letter either, so inquired about it on the phone and email. USCIS send me an email on 5/17/2018 saying I didn't have to go to biometrics because the process at USCIS is taking longer and they may reuse my fingerprint and picture from before. I haven't applied for N400 yet.  I hope it helps!

Below is my timeline:

10/16/2017 ー I-751 Filed at CSC

01/11/2018 ー NOA received (Inquired because I never received it)

04/17/2018 ー USCIS emailed me confirming my new address

05/17/2018 ー USCIS emailed me about Biometrics.

08/14/2018 ー 18-month extension letter received

09/28/3018 ー I-751 approval letter received

Congratulations!! Your NOA is exactly the same as mine. 10/16/2017. I will feel better if we can see some more October cases being worked on during these next few weeks.

I am pretty sure mine is covered in mountains of dust.

Good luck everyone!

I understood that, what I am wondering is do I have to file I-751 and separately apply to renew green card what will cost me around $1300 or JUST file I-751 and wait for approval?

if you are removing conditions on your green card, yes, you need to only apply for I-751. 🙂

Hey congratulations @twooranges (cool name :) ) that's great to hear. I'm happy for you! I got a teeny bit motivated to go look at my case and had a flicker of excitement when I saw there was last movement in July. But, doh, I'd forgotten that was my address change and not any actual progress.

Crickets... tumbleweed... no clue when or if I'll get the 10-year GC. Am applying for N400 on 24 October. Exactly one year to the date of my RoC application.
