Hi Enya_b,

Can I ask if you have receive your 18 months extension letter yet?  I am also from Detroit office and filed on October 2017 CSC, but still no letter yet.

I have 2 envelopes in my mailbox from this morning that I’m not sure what they are, I’m out of town until Monday but I will have my husband check just in case. I’m hoping one of those is the extension letter, if you get it let me know!

That’s very coincidental, it’s probably the post office’s mistake. Best of luck!

We got a letter in the mail today I can only see that it's from USCIS but no notification of change so I'm assuming it is our extension letter. Thankful to not have to go get a stamp.

Husband checked earlier, no such luck either. Sigh.

Hi Enya_b,

I saw from USPS that there is a mail from USCIS, I am guessing that's the 18 month extension.  Hope you have that too.

That’s great! I don’t have anything from USCIS today either, hopefully by the end of the week.

Oct filers who are waiting for 18 month extension we are almost there. Who thought even an extension letter instead of gc is would bring some kind of relief to us. Just seems like uscis is dragging out the whole process. I have been checking out  my mail box daily!

Hi all. I’m starting my day with this notification (ugh! Hello anticipation and anxiety) . I’m so nervous, excited and also a little bit sad because I know I should not have my hopes up. I really wish this was my GC but I believe this is only an extension letter 😔. Either way, at least this is something! I’ll let you know once I check my mail today in the afternoon.A8BC07C3-0563-4C73-845F-CD204E3A23B2.thumb.jpeg.09d4425b0dfe6eb2c9b6268b4fbb843e.jpeg

Wow that would be great! I just saw a letter from USCIS coming today, I’ll have husband check that later, most likely it’s extension letter but as long as it’s moving.

If it displays page 1of2 on the window, it's likely the 18-mo extension letter.

Please keep us posted if you get an original watermarked heavy-paper letter, or a courtesy copy of the letter. Folks are getting either version.
