Until when is your current extension letter valid? December? You have plenty of time until February to receive a letter. If you don't receive it before your extension letter expires, go get a stamp.

So we received white letter that says its a courtesy copy and not the actual letter. We are at VSC. Wondering if those who included G 1145 for email notifications are mistaken for submitting G 28. We did not use an attorney. Let me know your thoughts , those who received a courtesy copy. Where did the original go????

On Friday, I , too, received my 18 month extension letter from Home Land Security.  Thank goodness!!  I have been trying to get an apt through Info Pass @ Chatsworth, California, and there are never any openings for appointments.  it was becoming futile.

Wishing everyone else out there all the best.....  One day, this will all be "old news".  Hang in there!!

Seeing a lot of May 2017 CSC filers getting approvals. It looks like they are speeding things up a bit. Im wondering now that these new extension letters are coming out. They are actually trying to process cases in under 18 months. Who knows though.

The only notification we got was the one that USPS Informed Delivery Service gave us saying that we had a letter from USCIS coming that day. I dont think USCIS would personally email you saying the extension letter is coming.

I didn't obviously mean a personal email from USCIS. I meant notification for your account, if you have it set up for them online, saying a notice was mailed.

I don’t know the rest of you, my case has not been updated on the USCIS website since March and I even got my biometrics done 05/25, I doubt there will be any update if they do mail out my extension letter.
