update: So the letter just says they are behind processing times and they might use my old biometrics because of this and that they will not refund me my biometrics fee. So basically its a "you have long wait and we are sorry" type of letter. Oh well "rolls eyes"

Hey, thanks @nompish, I was looking out for your update. Ah well, at least you may not get called up for biometrics and you know that someone, somewhere is doing a little something. Not much comfort I know.

I've been waiting for your update as well. Thanks for letting us know!

Hi guys, just came back to VJ today to update all our stuff. We filed our ROC on 10/31 but weren't able to get Biometrics done until first of January. Based on your replies though looks like we are in for a long wait. Though I've seen others before us some have been approved sooner without interview and some later obviously with interview. I guess we will just wait and see. Good luck to everyone!

Ooooh, that's interesting. Just checked and my 'Case Was Received At My Local Office' status is still stuck at 5 March. Let us know what happens next...

Has anyone gotten an update saying'' Case transferred to the local office on April 9"

Unfortunately not. Mine still stuck on March 5th. Hopefully we see some activity soon! Wishful thinking though :D

Hi all, just found this thread. I filed mine in Oct 21, 2017, and got NOA and Biometrics done by Nov 2 (which now I am finding out was super fast? since some of you have not even got biometrics appointment yet??......)

Now my notification is stuck on that March 5th case received at your local office step, and the case inquiry for beyond March 29 but honestly I do not see the point of doing that since people from 2016 are still stuck at this process haha. Thought it would be helpful to share with you October filers :)

I did too and I wonder what is this about.

I keep reading that it’s basically being moved around from one room to another but hey this is the second time I got the notification so at least something is moving

Are you both Vermont filers? I can see @emcia_81 is. Wondering if there's a pattern as so far, haven't seen a CSC filer reporting this update. Either way, you're both likely to get your cases approved faster just by filing at Vermont.

Here is what the girl from another thread said. Unfortunately, my address is not eligible for informed delivery by USPS. She will update everybody on what she got in mail. My NOA date was I guess something around October 13th, 2017.
