Whose ASC (where they will go to biometrics for) is San Antonio?

I did the biometrics in Baltimore two days ago. Everything went well except they did extra checking because I just changed my last name to my husband's (my old GC still has my maiden name) and I forgot to bring my marriage certificate. But anyway, it took around 25 mins for me. Now let the waiting game begin!

I believe it all depends on the center and CSC is kinda slow right now. Oh.. and also the availability of your local ASC.

My ASC is Chicago, and someone from my thread who applied later than me just finished their biometrics. :/

Hello fellow October 2017,

I filed my ROC to California on October 25th 2017 and USCIS received it on October 26th. I got my NOA1 Extension letter on Oct 30th and i haven't received my BIOMETRICS NOTICE since then. Can someone tell me what to do? Im travelling internationally for Xmas on Dec 23. Is there any problem with my case or what?

I filed mine to the California Centre on October 29th, and I have received my NOA within a day or two, but, like you, have not received my Biometrix Appointment Letter.  Apparently, Callifornia office is very, very slow compared to the other offices................ As long as you have your letter to travel, you should be okay, as long as you aren't gone for too long.

Im leaving only for 1month. Im planning to call tier 2 officer on Dec 15th thou. I also signed up for informed delivery on usps so i can know if i have a letter from them while am abroad

We had to request a reschedule of my Biometrics due to my wife's pregnancy. We simply followed the instructions on the form and wrote a quick letter explaining why we couldn't make it and when a better time for us would be. Just got the new notice yesterday and it looks like they paid attention to the letter we wrote!

Hi everyone. I sent my package on Oct 17, and got the NOA1 on Oct 24 with receipt date of Oct 18 at CSC center. I still havent received anything for biometrics yet. Starting to get worried. I looked at Nov forum and it looks like most people at CSC have received their biometrics letter. I am not sure if USCIS had any system issues on Oct applications. Not sure what to do....the wait sucks!!!

i have same problem. a have send my case 10/12/2017 . i just got one letter with i-797 one year greencard aprooved . ana yestoday i went to uscis office and asked them where is my fingerprints letter . they said me you need wait . after a asked how can i travel , they took my passport and made stamp like i can travel one year and work . and theu cuted my green card((((((((

About 6 week after date of NOA, I submitted an inquiry online for not receiving an appointment letter. A few weeks later I received an email stating that my name has been added to the automatic appointment scheduler, an that it sometimes takes a little longer ... ASC is Jacksonville, FL.

Still no biometrics letter, but it'll come.

Hello October filers. I sent my application 10/10/2017 . My NOA receipt number was dated 10/12. I know California Service Center is very slow right now like what they said. But I just want to have a little peace of mind because I am really starting to get worried. Up to now I still dont have a biometrics schedule yet. I tried to call the National Customer Service Center with this number: 1-800-375-5283 but when I said my NOA receipt number it said it can not be found. I just really want to speak to an operator to ask why up to now I still dont have a biometrics schedule while some November filers in CSC has their schedule already.

I know that a lot of CSC feel the same way like I do. 

 

Could anyone give me a number to call please ? How could I reach a live operator whom  I could talk to? They said that you should have a biometrics schedule before 3 months that you send your application, well I am reaching my 3 months soon.

Reason: Did not receive notice by mail.

 

Where are you located? My guess is that your name has been added to the automatic appointment scheduler, but that your ASC is very busy at the moment.

Holy snail speed Batman! We got our NOA1 for 18th Oct, but still no biometic appointment. We called USCIS and got the typical half Yoda, and Mrs. Cleo replies to our questions. However in short they said "soon", "and wait longer". If we dont get a biometric appointment letter by end of the year for sure will need a Infopass.
