Hi everyone,

 

I just registered to join the conversation. I submitted my packet to CSC around 10/2 and my NOA is dated 10/11/17. Waiting on the biometrics appointment. I am starting to get a little nervous because many people seem to get their appointment within a month or so of the receipt date but I'll just be patient.

 

I'm planning to submit our joint 2017 tax return as soon as I can, I feel like the evidence I sent could have been stronger, we didn't make enough last year to file taxes jointly (should've thought about ROC ...) and we've been working our behinds off this year, no time for social activities (--> affidavits ...) and whatnot. We do own a property together though.

Hi all,

So we are in a unique situation and need some advice.  We submitted the I-751 on Oct 23 and received the NOA1 dated Oct 27 and that extended my wife for a year.  On the I-751 we answered yes for the K-2 applying with us (her son who followed several months after she entered).  We did not receive any NOA for him and I happened to look at the I-751 and for some strange reason I put the wrong A# for him.  I waited a bit for an RFE and when none came I submitted a revised I-751 with a cover letter, copy of her NOA1 and a copy of the notice received with his green card  that shows A# etc.

 

Today I received all that back and the letter said to call the National Customer Service Center as they would resolve my "issue".  I called today and the system said they do not recognize the receipt number from the NOA and I got the same response online.

 

Any advice on how to proceed?

Today I received all that back and the letter said to call the National Customer Service Center as they would resolve my "issue".  I called today and the system said they do not recognize the receipt number from the NOA and I got the same response online.

 

Any advice on how to proceed?

Call the number on NOA and ask to be transferred to the immigration officer. Those reps are not helpful and I normally do not waste my time speaking with them. I always say that I got disconnected with the immigration officer and I wish to be transferred again. They normally don't ask any questions ( except verifying me ).
