Hi everyone, 

 

I recieved my biometric appointment today. Dates 11/10/2017 and the date of biometric is 11/27/2017.

 

my question, I will be in Europe from 11/23/2017 and coming back to the states on 12/2/207. Can I go this Tuesday 11/21/2017 with a print out of my ticket and my biometric appointment and do my biometric then?

 

Its a long drive and I want to make sure that they will not turned me back.

From what I've seen on here, being able to do a walk-in (which is what you want) varies location to location, so only someone from your particular center will be able to answer that. Which center are your biometrics at?

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

It's almost one month now that I've been waiting for the biometrics appointment letter. Below is my timeline:
 

ROC:

10/13/2017: ROC package sent (delivered on 10/16/2017)

10/23/2017: Cheque cashed

10/25/2017: NOA1 received (dated 10/17/2017)

mm/dd/yyyy: Biometrics letter received (appointment date: mm/dd/yyyy) 

mm/dd/yyyy: Biometrics completed

 

I was hoping to receive the biometric appt in my hand so I could just do a walk in and get it done before leaving the country in December to go see my family. My plan was to get  the I-551 stamped on my passport so I'd have peace of mind. As it turns out i haven't received it and haven't booked my ticket yet and I don't want to risk missing the appt when I'm not in the country. 

 

Does anybody else have similar time lines without the ASC letter?
