It's been 40 days today's since USCIS recieved rfe respons . Hopefully they should make some sort of decision in next 20 days. My application is in nebereska.  Any new approval after rfe here ?

Hi! Make sure to give them a call if they have not responded 60 days after they have received your RFE. Mine got approved after 40 days (They received my RFE response letter on March 21st and got approved on April 30th).

Good luck to my fellow October 2017 filers especially to those who have received their RFE letters. God bless.

I filled for Outside Normal Processing Times and a week after I received an letter saying:

USCIS has reviewed your Service request, we unable to move forward with your application until the required background checks have been completed....

Anybody know what that means? My case is over 19 months already in Vermont.

That's crazy . Did you give your finger prints to them ? What is your status now and when was the last time your status changed ?

Some countries take longer to get security checks cleared.  It all depends on how much data that country is sharing with the US, and whether your record is clean both here and elsewhere.

Yes they have everything (finger print etc) and I don't have anything in my background, my status changed in January when I change my address.
