Hey guys had a question. I'll be moving to a different state, should I wait 4 months before filing my N400 or file in my current state and update the address later? I was wondering if changing states delays N400 processing?

Thanks

March777277- They are approving September, October, Nov, Dec 2017 cases randomly and there are left over cases for all those months. Did you get your 18 months extension letter? Is your 18 months extension letter expired ? Did you apply N-400?  If you need to get your passport stamp due to expire of extension letter , get an infopass.

Thank you for answering, I didn’t apply for my N400. And I got an 12 months extension letter and is expired. I was waiting this month to see if any news. An nothing. I guess I schedule my infopass

Hi guys my case is EAC180 and no answer yet, I called yesterday to uscis since my extension letter it’s expired for and infopass so I can have a stamp. Anyone having the same issues. I am a 10/2107

Call USCIS main customer service line and they will help you schedule an infopass appointment (unless your office is easy to get one online).

Was your case transferred to another Service Center?

No, they didn’t transfer my case. My local office doesn’t accept walk in an either online appointments so I have to call them to schedule:/

I am sorry to hear about the delay.  Usually this happens often with people who have filed N-400 (so case will go in queue with N-400 to be adjudicated together), or with people who have their case transferred to Nebraska.

But it looks like you are filing with Vermont, based on your profile, and Vermont has not transferred that many files out.  The recent transfer out was February 2018 files to Texas Service Center.  It is frustrating, I know, but keep your hopes up.  This too shall come to an end.
