I finally filed our taxes today. Waiting for the refund as proof that we did actually file. Then I just need a photocopy of the hubby's driver's license. After we filed I751 in in October of 2017, we opened a joint auto loan and the car is registered in both our names. We have current car insurance and electric bills in both our names, 2 affidavits, a new property tax bill, also the 2017 tax return. We don't have much for when we first came here, we stayed with his parents for a while. No bills. But we have lots of more recent stuff now.  I really hope this will satisfy the RFE. We don't want a joint bank account or credit card at this time. Do you think those documents will suffice?

fruitnutSend all the latest documents, bank statement from filing of ROC to recent and if you could not get any 2018 tax document, send the image of turbotax filing paper as prove of 2018 tax filing.  If you did not submit letter from two friends, you may send. Write a letter explaining that first one year you lived with relative, so not much paper work in the first year.  They will understand that it takes time to intermingle financial responsibility or take time to be independent.

Thanks dilip. I will do just that. I will send everything I have. I even have some bills for things I ordered for my husband. Billing address is mine, mailing address is his (well same address but different names). That's not strong evidence (I have other documents that are stronger), but the more the better.
