Well congrats. So that's around 2 months after getting transferred. So no N400 yet, right?

Thank you. We didn't file for the N400, we just wanted to be done with this. I was planning on enlisting into the army and go from there.

Congrats!

Our details are similar to yours, filed at VSC on 10-16-17, transferred to TSC on 12-03-18. Hoping luck smiles on us soon as we're at the 2 month mark of our transfer to TSC. And no N400 yet.

Thank you. You're very close. You know, I was planning on filling an inquiry online this Monday on USCIS website. Maybe, if you don't get an answer after the two months you could do that.

How many of those that applied for N400 receive an interview notice already? If you didn't get a notice, what's your latest update? Case transferred to local office? And how long did you get that update after you applied for N400? For those that didn't apply for N400 with pending i-751, how many of you submitted your n400? What's your latest case update like?

Hello

My I-751 is still pending (Oct-17). I applied for N400 in Oct-2018 and my combi interview is on 12 March, 5 months from application. I was notified in January, 3 months after applying.

Back in Dec-18, both my cases were transferred to NBC and now appear to be at my local office. It was my local office that responded to my inquiry (in the mail) confirming that I'd sit both interviews on the same day.

If my I-751 is approved, it will have taken 17 months.

I don't expect to hear anything now on either case until my interview.

Hope that helps.

My question, Why does it take 2 months from the interview notice till the actial interview? I thought that usually takes no more than a month.

Really depends on your local office. We're quite small here in Wichita, which may be why I got my N400 interview notice fairly quickly (3-months). But, I suspect this is all down to scheduling and oath ceremony dates. Bigger states hold ceremonies frequently, but in Wichita they happen just a few times a year. I may have been booked in March so I can go to the ceremony in April (if I pass).

Next one is in August, which will be a looooooooong wait.
