emcia_81- How are you able to send inquiry about your I-751 status.  You filed Oct, 2018 and you are not out of the normal processing window time which is around  July 2018.

It's a typo on their side.

Hi - there have been some i-751/N400 filers who've had their Green Cards approved, but most on here seem to be going down the combi interview route. It depends on what your end goal is. If it's citizenship, then you may get to that faster having filed your N400 back in October, as it will be processed concurrently with your I-751. But, it could also mean that you're in for a longer wait to get GC approval.

You need the GC sign off before your citizenship can be approved, though you may never actually get the physical card if both cases are adjudicated at the N400 interview/test.

I would have preferred to have got my GC and then applied for citizenship. But as the applications are taking so long to process nowadays, and I want to vote, I decided to go for USC as soon as I was eligible. In my case, my GC is still pending but my N400 interview/test (and hopefully I-751 adjudication) is in March. It took 5-months to get to interview (since submitting my N400 application in Oct-18).

A lot depends on the processing time of your local office. What's it looking like for Brooklyn?

You could try contacting USCIS by phone, or doing an online inquiry to try and get firmer status for your cases.

Good luck!

hi everyone

I filed i-751 October,04 2017 and received my extension letter for one year

the letter was expired and i got stamp on my passport for extra one year

the last update was case was transferred to local office on November 2018 and no updates since that date

I also applied for my citizenship October 2018

has any one got approved with N400 filed ??

should it take longer for me since I applied for N400 with 751 pending ??

my local office for N400 is Brooklyn NY and for 751 is Vermont service center  and the case after me was approved and card was issued with the same local office which is confusing me !!

Still waiting for ROC approval.  Will be out of town for three weeks.

A quick question to ROC approved guys: When you get your card, do you get in ordinary mail?  If I do hold mail at USPS, will they keep my card or return it?  Have seen a card could not deliver message.
