I just filed for my n400, also San diego last january 3, they scheduled me for biometrics feb 5. On the estimated date of completion it says feb 2020 (13 months). 

 

Still pending 751, last update january 4 2019, transferred from csc to vermont. 

 

 

We have the same situation with the I751 I was transfered from California to Vermont on January 4th I’m still waiting I didn’t apply for a citizen yet.

Guys - so I received 2 text messages (within 5 minutes) right now saying my case was updated.

Checked USCIS and it says the same thing “case was transferred - a new office has jurisdiction”

 

and last sat night I got the same thing.

 

any idea?

edit - where is WAC cases?

i called USCIS and the automated system and it said my case is in Lincoln Nebraska.

 

is that a quick office for processing?

thinking I may get an interview?

 

edit - got ANOTHER 3rd text saying case updated but same status online USCIS website.

What was your estimated time of completion before you recieved the interview schedule? 

 

My friend filed n400 july 2017, biometrics by oct 2017, interview january 3rd then oath taking last week . Same office SD

i mean that 'estimated time' changes all the time. when i first submitted my application, it was 11. now its on 9. if this answers your question?

I have EAC1803**** receipt number too for I-751 and status still "Case Was Received At My Local Office" since September 27, 2018.

 

For N400, they scheduled my interview on February 26. Hopefully, they approve my I-751 before N400 interview.

Thanks for the update! I'm so pleased you have a date, something concrete. Now you have a much better idea of when you'll finally be done with immigration. :) :) :)

 

I was bouncing on and off my account yesterday just in case... but nothing. 

 

Good luck with the study. I can rattle off all 100 questions and answers now in my sleep.

Outcome

16 Mar-19: I-751 ~ Green Card in Hand (from submission to card delivery, 17 months)

19 Apr-19:  N400 ~ Naturalization Oath Ceremony, certificate in-hand! (from submission to oath, 6 months)

1 May 19: Voter registration card in-hand

3 May 19: USA passport in-hand

11 May 19: New SSN card in-hand

They will most likely do an I-751 interview, approve you on the spot and proceed with the N400 interview.
