About a month ago, I was about to get the stamp, but my office was the same as yours- no schedules or walkins anymore. Then I called USCIS, and they scheduled an app over the phone for the week after. So, I would advice you to do the same. ;)

No my case did not get transferred.

Case number: WAC18013xxxxx

10/07/17 --- I751 sent

10/13/17 --- NOA with 12 months extension

02/26/18 --- Case received at local office

05/14/18 --- Biometric Letter Received

05/25/18 --- Biometric done

08/23/18 --- 18 months extension letter received (original with watermark)

01/08/19 ---  Case approved

01/11/19 ---  Card mailed out

01/12/19 ---  Approval notice received in mail

01/14/19 ---  GC received in mail

(no interview, no ref, no transfer, no N400)

751HK- best way to do it option 2... say you don’t have your receipt number and all and keep saying it till they transfer it to an actual person ... following instruction will get you just to automative system.

I751_HK -  Did you receive  18 months courtesy  copy or original 18 months original letter ( which will be on thick paper with watermark).  I also received only Courtesy copy and after two requests to send me the original 18 months, USCIS sent me an email to come to local field office to get passport stamp.  Lucky I also got an infopass and also took the email ( see below) and got passport stamp for a year. See the email below I received:

On 12/14/2018 , you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your 12/14/2018 to notify us that you need a special accommodation for an upcoming appointment. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

 

You should make an InfoPass appointment via our website www.uscis.gov.  Alternatively, you may come into the office on  January 2, 2019, January 4, January 7, January 11, or any Monday or Tuesday after that, with your passport, 2-year green card, and 797 notice for the I-751 to receive a stamp in your passport.  You must appear early in the morning between 8am and 11am.  You must bring this notice with you as proof - if you are unable to obtain an InfoPass appointment on your own.
