VSC transferred around 40 % cases to another jurisdiction and I am sure not all of them applied for N-400.  So I do not think there is relation of transfer and N-400 application.  My -751 is not transferred even though I applied for N-400

Interviews?

Who knows.. I know that I will have an interview for sure , since I already applied for N400. And, transferring the case to Lee Summit, MO makes me be sure that is gonna be either separate green card interview first or combo interview (I751 + N400) since the fact that Lee Summit doesn't approve cases.

I think it depends. Either workload transfer or because you have filed for N400.

Seems like nothing will happen until next year. Plus government shutdown can delay too

Greetings!

I searched Government shutdown and USCIS and most answers the especially immigration law firm websites say USCIS is not affected by because they are self funded by our form and biometric fees. One firm said they will continue to accept and adjudicate immigration applications.

Merry Christmas!

Depends on where USCIS offices are located. If USCIS offices are physically within a federal government facility, no one cannot get in. But if a freestanding USCIS location, employees are not affected by this shutdown and work goes on. How much work gets done next couple of weeks is another matter.

I followed 700 cases of EAC , only one interview so far , so interview is still rare for I-751 ( may be except divorce filing).  I-751 and N-400 combination is possible only if local office is very current of N-400 and may try to combine both.  Where I-751 is applied say 12-15 months ago and N-400 of any busy office is 7-8 months away,  combination will not happen.  Since, you can request of your normal process time and they need to act on your I-751.   But if the local office ( not that busy) can have N-400 interview in a month or two, then combination interview possible.

Currently, 24 and 25 th Dec are holiday and Lawmakers and WH are working on it and I think, there will be some compromises and everything will be fine by 26th and our approval will start coming after January 2nd.  Like all of us , USCIS people are taking vacation
