I have updated our little tracker below. I added 'Applied for N-400?' for those of you who applied for N-400 while i-751 is pending. Comments can be utilized for things like if you have gotten 18-month extension letter and/or if your case was transferred to another service center.

Date of I-751 = The Date you sent your application.
NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter.
Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment.
Approved = The Date your case was approved.

Applied to N-400? = The Date you applied for N-400 (if you have done so)

1/2/2015 - Fingerprint fee accepted

1/26/2015 - Case suspended - RFE sent out

2/3/2015 - Fingerprint done at Jamaica Center, Queens

2/11/2015 - RFE received - Case resumed

3/2/2015 - EAD ordered

3/13/2015- EAD card mailed out -- received it 3 days later

7/8/2015 - AOS interview ready to be scheduled for an interview

9/27/2015 - AOS Interview scheduled for Nov 3

11/3/2015 - AOS interview

12/11/2015 - APPROVED!!!

ROC (Vermont Service Center)

10/3/2017 - Sent out ROC package to VSC

10/6/2017 - Date on NOA (Received NOA on 10/16/2017)

11/6/2017 - Biometrics done

8/15/2018 - Extension letter for 18 months received

12/28/2018 - APPROVED! (No RFE, No Interview) 🤸‍♀️ 

1/7/2019 - GC delivered

N-400 (Queens field office)

1/22/2019 - N400 delivered to Dallas, TX.

1/25/2019 - Check cashed

2/12/2019 - Biometrics appt

8/26/2019 - Interview scheduled

1)Noa oct 23rd 2017 .

2)Biometric (Sometime in Mid Nov 2017)

3)Sometime in first week of Sept 2018,

I recieved 18 months extension.

4)On Nov 6th 2018 , I got notice that my application transfered to new jurisdiction.

Does anyone else who's an i-751 Oct-17 filer with an N400 application on the go (combi), get confused by the 'We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time' emails?

 

As USCIS don't include the case number, I can only which case the update is for (or lack of update 😉) by the 'we last took action date'. If it's July 2018 I know it's the i-751 as the action refers to an address change. And the N400 email - which is identical - will have a last action date which  was biometrics in November 2018. 

 

When and if anything starts happening though on my i-751 the dates are going to align more. No biggie I guess, as I'll log in asap to see any updates. But it would be nice if USCIS could use some kind of case identifier.

Outcome

16 Mar-19: I-751 ~ Green Card in Hand (from submission to card delivery, 17 months)

19 Apr-19:  N400 ~ Naturalization Oath Ceremony, certificate in-hand! (from submission to oath, 6 months)

1 May 19: Voter registration card in-hand

3 May 19: USA passport in-hand

11 May 19: New SSN card in-hand
