Thank you! That's what I think too, it's just my anxiety double thinking and doubting everything. But don't get me wrong, I am extremely thankful and grateful for the smooth and fast aos process that we had :) we submitted our aos packet july 5 and we had our interview yesterday.

We are in a very similar position - had our interview on Monday (Submitted on June 09) and we got approved on the spot and told me green card will be out in 2-3 weeks and told us about naturalization in 3 years etc.  He did not give me a letter though and our case tracker has not changed from "interview is scheduled" so i was starting to worry as it has been very accurate so far.

How many years have your being married. A friend is being married for a year and six months and want to know if they wil give her 2yrs or 10 when she files this month

If your friend get the AOS interview and approval before their 2 year wedding anniversary, then they get the 2 year GC, any marriage over 2 years before AOS gets the 10 years.

Just to add to this - yesterday I received a letter in mail - approval notice on very light green paper .
"this is to notify you that your application for permanent residence has been approved, you should receive your new card within the next 3 weeks"

mind is officially at ease. :)

Yes, sweetadams is right. You'll get 10yrs GC if you're married for more than 2 years.

Yay, that's such a good news!! Congrats!! :) Your interview was on 10/02, right? Ours was 10/03 and our case status hasn't changed yet. Did yours change? Fingers crossed we hear something soon.

Yep, we done ours on Monday just gone. Thank you!!

Our case status hasn’t changed either it still says “Interview is scheduled”.

I am so lucky my EAD came in the post the day of my interview so I’ve been able to go and apply for my SSN and look for work etc before green card arrives.

Best of of luck with everything, I’m sure everything is fine but I do understand the worry!!

Thank you! I haven't received my EAD and it was never "approved" cause I think we went straight to AOS. I can't wait to get our approval letter too just to ease my mind. Hopefully it will be here by next week. I will keep you posted! :)

and good luck on our new journey. I hope job searching will be easy for both of us!  :)
