Will entering the DV Lottery affect my visitor visa(ESTA) and Future NON-IMMIGRANT visas?

What do you mean “denied” the lottery? Do you mean not selected, or do you mean selected but denied a DV visa after applying for one?

 

Thanks for the response SusieQQQ. I was mainly asking about not being selected from the lottery. My understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, from the responses is that simply entering the lottery does not affect any future non-immigrant visa applications.

 

But now that you mention it, my second question would be does being denied a DV visa after applying for one affect future visa applications?

Yes, but seeing how small the chances of being selected are, you can cross that bridge if you come to it.
