It's a myth that only white people discriminate. But, and this needs to acknowledged as well: in Western countries ( especially European) most people in charge are white and because of this they can choose who to hire or not. And yes,  it happens that they choose something they "connect" with. And typically that's usually someone who has much in common with them: culture, background.

 

This type of bias  happens all over the world in every country, but the focus is on the countries that preach equality. And that's typically the Western countries.

To give an example of a situation that can be unintentionally biased: hiring managers tend to hire people that are like themselves.

So its most likely that a qualified person won't get the job because their name sound different, they look different and they have a different background.

   That is discrimination. Most HR's at larger companies don't find themselves in that situation nowadays. Hiring someone like themselves does not score highly on any interview I've been a part of.

At least they are shamelessly united in helping their own people  While white people are suffering from "white guilt"

That phrase is the 2nd most hated phrase in my mind, the one I really hate is "people need to pay their fair share". 

 

I don't have white guilt because my family has worked hard since we came to this continent in the 1660's, they have all been poor farmers from then until the 1970's. The only people that have white guilt are the ones that are lost in the sauce and lost in this world, basically social outcasts.

  I can't get on board with reparations for anyone else yet. I'm still waiting myself for reparations from the vikings for the invasion of northern Scotland in the 9th century.
