Well my fiance is active duty and I am DoD civilian, we didnt pay attention of expedited regulation and then he was pcsing back to the state for emergency. So as we are not married and I am not US citizen sooo we are going through the K1.

Anyway, we talked to Military Helpline and they said..once June and July fillers done it will be lot faster...during that time is sommer holidays so lots of officers have summerbreak...

 

So fellows keep our fingers crossed! 

That's awesome. Hopefully it's legit, and the rest of the months go by fast. Because it's looking like March for all of us right now if it doesn't go quicker.. and that's just ridiculous.

Ooh! I'm literally dancing. Fiancé got the mail. They received our petition on Oct, 10 and Notice Date: Oct 13. We put on our Seat Belt for the Awesome NOA2.

Not a good start to the weekend . Noticed that the passport photo of me that was supposed to be in the petition packet, somehow fell out before I mailed it. I am a klutz . Now I will have to wait for an RFE. Dang.

We filed it on Oct 13 still no updates on NOA1. saw that few people filed it on friday and got NOA1 on monday.

Well if you sent it on the Friday I'm not entirely sure it's guaranteed for Monday. Many ppl sent it days before but it was received by the service center on the Friday. Mine was received on a Tuesday and it still took 3-4 business days before I got the NOA1 text and email update so Fridays seem iffy since it's the end of the week but don't fret, I'm sure that you should be getting you NOA1 soon. What you can do (if you haven't already) is to be see if the check has been cashed if you used a check or you can track the money order if you used that 😊

We are waiting for NO1 too. I asked my bf to track the package he said he sent it via USPS oct 4. It has been quiet since..He is not sure if he sent the e-notification of application form.😟😟

 thanks AnaUmo, Any idea on when idealy check can be cleared by uscis is it before NOA1? we filed through attorney and i guess we didnt send g1145 as he didnt ask for it. Do you have any idea if we can now filll that form to get text/email notification goinf forward?

Check with the bank to see if the check was cashed.  That is a sure fire way to know they got it!

The NOA1 is simply the notification that they have received the packet.  If the check is cashed they have received the package.  It may be lost in the mail but cashing the check tells you it was received.  I believe you can get information using both names and both dates of birth if you call.
