Yippee! Also, I noticed that the wait from NOA2 to NVC is getting shorter everyday.

Last week, 7+ - 8 weeks... 60days

This week Tuesday, 48 days

Today, 40 - 41 days

🎆🎇🎆

Seriously? 😱

I just saw 37 days from NOA2 to NVC!

Hello October!

I don't tend to go to other month threads, but I wanted to come here and brighten the mood a little.

I personally am a June 12th filer, and I only recently got my NOA2 after 214 days... BUT... I want to tell you a few things...

1.  There is ALOT happening that is not ever updated and recorded on the online system, so the numbers you may hear and see are usually on the pessimistic end.

2. After June, the following months have MUCH less applications, meaning that if USCIS stay at their current rate, the wait time WILL reduce by the time things reach Sept/Oct.

3. In the past two days alone, (and today isn't complete yet), USCIS approved around 150 cases in June alone... I have good reason (based on reports and trends) that there are plenty more that are not updated online (as previously stated), meaning things ARE hopefully going to get better.

4. People who are going through this process get mired down sometimes, and its not their fault, but when you spend a month or more watching those around you, and after you, being approved, whilst you remain stuck, it has an effect, and that effect spreads without you even realising it... this creates bias, which although it isn't intentional, it is inaccurate, and shouldn't be taken to make the future applicants downhearted.

TL;DR - Stay strong.  Stay positive, but realistic.  Trust in the data and analysis provided by the people who scan and watch the updates every day - I believe @Daniel P is scanning this month when the time comes, and I can say with certainty that he will guide you well, trust him... he won't be right for all of you - there will be people who get left behind, but support each other, and hope to be one of the lucky ones.  Be mindful of those who are not so lucky, and help to bring them out of the flames when they feel like they are in hell.

With that said, be very careful of planning wedding dates, and comitting non-refundable money, or getting your heart set on a date - it may lead to financial loss and heartbreak and nobody wants to see that for you, so remember (as we all have learned previously - we have VERY little control over this and there is nothing you can do about it, including get information much of the time, so remain robust and adaptable, but hopeful!)

I can tell you from experience now that recieving your NOA2 approval isn't the end of the journey, but it is a HUGE weight off of your shoulders - so be strong and supportive and you all will get that feeling too.

I wish you all the very best with your journeys!

Hi guys,,,

So as June fliers we joined in on this "Pay it forward" journey, so here I am.

I  am a June 26 flier. That just today( January 18, 2018) was approved by the USCIS. Our approval was updated on the USCIS website. I did not receive and RFE's and we called the USCIS and spoke to a Tier 1 three times. They could not give us general information saying our case was pending...but thankful we got our approval. Honestly, this is a hard process and I have complained many times and I know we have not completely this process yet but having seen that status changed to " Your Case is Approved" does miracles... my fiancé and I both feel like there has been a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Looking bad now, I cried, I got angry and I definably throw a couple tantrums but I just wanted to wish you guys good luck and tell you to never give up... There is a light at the end of this tunnel... and right now they may dim but they will definitely get brighter...

Thank you, guys! 🙏

It means so much to us (October Filers).

We are Positive and always looking forward for the Best!🎇🎆

Ok, so I wanted to clarify something about NOA1 date.  In the USCIS website it says they received it October 5th.  Is that my NOA1 date?

Also, I keep seeing people saying they are checking an application to see status of cases around theirs.  What application is this?

For the first time that I recall, our timeline date has moved backwards. Hoping it continues to do so, all the way until we all have our NOA2!

So on my timeline, when it says your 129f may be adjudicated between "such and such" does that mean for the whole process? or just approval and the rest of the journey?

Your notice date would be the one on the noa1 notice, however your number will show up with October 5th filers, and will come with that order.

Nope, adjudication only applies to the petition.

So it shows estimate for your adjudication dates (possible outcomes can be , NOA 2 Approval or RFE or anything else....hopefully approval :D )

Ok, so the date in the NOA1 notice is Oct 10th.  I will fix my timeline.  (Only by 1 day, but 1 day sooner :) )
