OK- It would be great if you could update us when you hear from them. Thank You

(They’re super fast with replies) so they’ve said that the maximum wait for NOA2 is 8 months but that is at the absolute most so it can come less than that. However they’re still averaging the NVC wait at about 3 weeks which is less than what I’ve been hearing from others

What in the world...so everyone is accusing that person of lying about NO2? I don't understand what they would have to gain from that....

I swear this site stresses me out sometimes lol.

Call me overly hopeful but they’re processing July right now. July was 6 months ago, and if they take the same amount of time to get to October, that would put us at only 3 months away! We’re half way there (hopefully) :)

Yeah, I mean I don't understand why everyone says August is far fetched for us to do a wedding. With normal processing right now if they don't get back logged again I calculated my fiance getting here in July and us getting married early August.

Yeah when we first filed I thought my fiancé was going to be here by April, I was so wrong. We filed the second week of October so I’m hoping that by the end of June he’s here.

I know!!! Because before the entire process was only suppose to take 5-6 months but then they got very backlogged. It seems they're really trying to get caught back up. There's no major holidays around the corner so I'm sure we'll be good. Either way at least we know it'll be this year. :)

Yes because under these NVC waits when only one person comes up, says rfe the day they got the vj account, then they got noa2 the day they close account, and never been updated online?

well I have to call it that because it is ridiculous to think they decided to oh jump over all the other months in between.

as for the August wedding, I changed my wedding date from July 28 to August 18 because there was no other date, I wanted to go as far as September 29. Not because I don't think Ill make it but because it was causing me stress to invite everyone and them getting tickets and me stuck in AP or something. As anything can happen... but no I don't think it's impossible to get an August wedding, if the timelines stay this way it is possible. If it gets worse... I don't even want to think about it.

At the way it’s going @Naes do you think it’s reasonable to say mid  October filers could get here end of June?

Hmm I was wondering if I can make it in June :)

but the problem is it is possible but I wouldn't advice on planning on that. Look at john. He is june 6, lots of june 6ths and people after him got approval And some even moved the case to the NVC already! But his case got stuck. We have 5 people in May who got stuck. So this happens, we can't certainly say that your case or my case won't stuck there...

Luckily I’ve planned my wedding for January 2019, I’m just impatient and want my fiancé here. Some people have said he wouldn’t be here til July-August, possibly September and the thought of that it’s heart breaking

True. I also believe Oct filers will be with their loved ones by June to August.

I am more concerned with the start of Senior year in Arizona. I hope I won't have to leave my son to finish one school year before he can follow me. I initially thought we can fly before May. :(:(:( But now that seems impossible.

Things would definitely have to speed up massively for that to happen. Fingers crossed tho!!

Guys all we can do is hope for the best and be aware of the worst.

today I saw a December 11 no2 being told their case sent to NVC on January 11. Now I know there are lots of people waiting even before hay day and I don't know if uscis lied again (cause I mean seriously their pants are continuously on fire...) but I want to believe that NVC wait times will come down to better, and they probably just f-ed up something there in November along with Their other f ups.

I don't want to believe my fiancé visa case which I will additionally pay a 1000+ dollars on AOS will be as long as a cr1 case. I'm thinking if no extraordinary problem occurs like my case gets stuck, I will have my VOH by May.  And if anything goes bad by July.

Think the best, prepare for the worst. Not because it will happen but to save yourself and your relationship from stress.

(today it's only 10 am and I snapped at my fiancé 3 times on 3 different phone calls since morning )
