Hi everyone,

My fiance(beneficiary) has changes his address. I have been trying to find how I need to update the address but could not figure it out. Any idea how?

Thanks for your responses.

If I'm not mistaken when you go to check your case number on their website it has it on that same page about address changes.

I am checking that, but that link seems to serve to petitioners address change only. Maybe I should search more, someone else must have had  same issue earlier.

Thank you so much Brittani :)

You don't need to update your fiance's address, only if you the petitioner moves then you do need to update. His will only matter after noa2 and he fills out the ds160.

Checked my timeline again just now and it's got pushed back another 4 days.. Unreal and Christmas and the New Year coming up? Gotta think positive somehow.. My thoughts are with ALL filers out there.. can't even imagine what the people who are near 200 days are going through.. I pray it speeds up, but we'll see..

If you check the June forum things seem to be picking up today at least.

Yeah, I seen that. In order for the October Filers cases to be touched by March/April they need to hit about 200+ cases a day, unless my math is off..

Hey Guys, I hope that everyone is well. I've been quietly lurking on all the threads as usual but I cut down the amount of time I spend on VJ. I've been trying to keep myself busy with the soon-to-be hubby . Things seem to have slowly picked up for the June guys as @ThomasNC1988 pointed out but not enough. I appreciate all the data mining and calculations you guys have been putting in to keep us all in the realest but most optimistic light.

I just checked VJ to see if there was anything particularly different from what everyone else has posted as well. It's quite saddening to see that in a little over a year the processing time has increased so dramatically.

Well 19 days until I get my little respite from this suffering ^_^

All the best to everyone! :)

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.

Hey guys, how are you doing? I've finally reached day 50, which I've set up my mind for it to be the first third of the way until NOA2. Kind of a checkpoint to make the wait easier ^_^. I know it might take longer than 150 days, but if it happens to take that long I'll be by then very close from getting it anyway so it won't be that bad...

I'd say June is a realistic date for us October filers to have our visa in hand, as long as processing times stop going up. I'll try to post an update of the average times graph from April up to the beginning of June soon to see the latest evolution. We'll see...

Let's be positive ! :D:D

well it's is easy to say and I am really negative person lol.

I heard lots of people saying that venture ( the wildfire ) impacting our petition and on the other hands I keep reading people saying, once the May and June petition are through they will speeding up even we could get our NOA 2 by February.

either way we have no choice instead being positive and waiting and praying :):)
