I don't wanna ruin anyone's hopes, but it just doesn't make any sense. We know for sure that only cases from the end of May are being approved right now (from the information posted in last months' threads). It's just not posible that, suddenly, they have processed thousands and thousands of cases, or that they just didn't update the information nor send the NOA2 to all those people still waiting from June, July and August. The only plausible (and unlikely) explanation is that they decided to double their workforce, and even then it would still take months to process all those cases.

I'm not saying that what others are saying about what they're being told on the pone is not true, but, being realistic, something here isn't adding up.

Of course I wish I'm wrong, but I think it's preferable to be a little skeptic than ending up very dissapointed.

We're all skeptical at this point but it would be nice if something positive came out of this. I'm just confused because one side of me says it's not feasible BUT it's not impossible since there are ways to speed up the process they have in place right now so that gives my other side all this hope :o:D

My guess is that they were way behind normal processing time, then one September file was processed for some reason (an expedite, maybe), and then changed the date to September to make it look better. They technically were not lying since they "got" to September.

And then, 6458 calls later to their call center from confused-even-angry filers made them probably rethink their strategy.
