Awww! @AnaUmo, you are in spirit. Seriously, I agree to this 💯%. I downloaded an USCIS App on my phone and have settings for any update on my case, including similar cases like mine. It's really cool. I need not go to USCIS website again for my case status.

I'm also considering visiting my fiancée in February-March next year through JFK. I'm also worried I could have some kind of problem at the airport. The thing is last time I visited her (August 2016) I didn't have any problem at all, even when I said I was visiting my girlfriend, though at the time we weren't "officially" engaged nor had applied for the K1 visa yet. It's also true that the officer also asked me how long we had been dating (4 years at the time) and had previously traveled to the US twice before, so that might have counted in my favor.

I'm inclined to think that most times you just don't need to give any extra explanation, and if the questioning leads you in that direction, you'll be fine as long as you're upfront and have the usual evidence to show you'll be going back.

I just got back from US visit 3 weeks ago ( 6-15 Oct ), 2 months ago (1-16 Sept ) and going to US in 2 weeks for Thanksgiving ( 17-26 Nov).

I haven't faced any problem at POE yet ( I hope I won't ever) they did ask what the purpose of visit - I said visiting my Fiancé for the 2nd visit and the 1st visit I said visiting my future parents in law and then they stamped my passport.

my opinion is, if you are honest and can prove that you gonna be back to your home country you should be good to go

Good luck folks :D

Wow! I read from May 2017 Filers that when a thread reaches 500+ posts, part 2 of the thread is created. This is almost 6 months of May Filers and they just got to 508 posts. We, October filers are in our first month with 300+ posts. I bet, we would be having Part 2 &3 of this thread. Lol!

Let's posting to ease off our anxiety. Lol!

You mean pages maybe? They currently got to 511 while this topic only got to 21. There's no way they have less posts, especially since May is the month they're at at USCIS at the moment and most of the May filers are (naturally) posting like crazy :jest:

If you look at the other months, it really falls off as you hit 75 days.  You are frustrated but it is 75 days of the same posts.  It picks up again when you start approaching 140 to 150 days as there is new excitement.  Trust me.  It won't be as busy here in January and early February.
