From what I understand, based on former adjudicators, schedules are pretty flexible for them. They are expected to put in at least 40 hours per week, but overtime is available and overtime is mainly focused on catching up outstanding cases from older months. There is a bit of gaming with the numbers/dates to keep the average processing time "as advertised" on the website. They can't let too many cases fall too far behind, but they will occasionally do a whole bunch a little bit early to boost up the average. As people who have been around here for a while have seen, things are processed only loosely in order of receipt.

Yes and no. It's up to the agent at the border. Some people get to continue their visits the entire time the k1 is in process, and others don't get so lucky.  Now you have a very good reason to stay in the US and not go back (your fiance), at least that's how some of them see it. But once your K1 is approved and issued your B2 will be cancelled.  Until then, you never know. Just make sure you constantly have proof of strong ties to your home country.

May I ask why your interview took three months to be scheduled? That doesn't appear to be the norm and seems a bit long.

All countries are a bit different after NOA2. Some are very quick, and others take longer. Some of it has to do with the waiting periods between the medical exam and interviews, such as the difference in time between Ukraine and Russia, you can interview two days after your medical in Ukraine, but must wait two weeks in Russia. Other countries, like some in the middle east and Africa, can take months due to enhanced security screening procedures and dealing with governments that do not keep as good of records as others.

Can anyone suggest

I'm the k1 beneficiary and My notice period to current job is 90 days. I'm october filler, when is the good time to resign in my current job?

You can resign anytime, as your employment (Beneficiary) isn't a concern for K-1.
