yea but what if the beneficiary wants to work right away lol... especially when they qualify for so many jobs... i told him to apply anyway.. just didnt know if they should put down that they dont need sponsorship? Like we are putting in AOS right away... just tired of waiting for everything...

Well if they want to work right away, this is the wrong type of Visa for them.
Everything comes down to the Visa you apply for. And people need to know the limitations of the VISA they choose.
For many, if the finance game/idle waiting is too much, they do the spousal. Beneficiary can work the instant they arrive.

As @ChuAni mentioned, if you don't have AOS done by the time you have a job, by definition you need sponsorship. Though I don't see any employer giving you one on this type of visa.

But I agree, everything is taking too much time. Though it seems USCIS is trying to fix those times. Maybe AOS will lessen by the time your beneficiary is here. Maybe it will be 2-3 months, instead of 3-5 months.

yea hopefully the AOS and the EAD would not take long... one of the companies does sponsor... so i wonder how that would work if we are just waiting for the EAD and the company says they would sponsor

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but what I've read is our fiance's can not work until after they get their adjustment of status even with a work permit UNLESS a company agrees to co sponsor them? That doesn't sound right to me someone please tell me that's wrong....

Nope. As it says “a work permit” they can work, company has nothing to do with their sponsorship. But some companies are not nice about it (which they shouldn’t but it happens)

Trying very hard not to feel discouraged.  But the fact that some July folks have not gotten approved makes me feel nervous, anxious, and sad. Well nothing else to do.  Very glad I have all of you and a place where I can vent to people who feel my pain.  Congrats to all those approved.  Happy Easter for all who celebrate.

Well I can't opine on their sponsorship since I don't know the company.

But you just gotta be careful on what their sponsorship entails. Some companies only sponsor on a specific type of VISA, etc.
Because keep in mind the whole point of EAD is to make sure you are not going to LEGALLY displace American workers. And companies are being careful not to be under scrutiny for that.
